Zumio Review — The 4 Most Innovative Clitoral Stimulators

Zumio I Clitoral Stimulator
Zumio I
- Enjoy toys with broad contact
- Want a clit stimulator that covers a larger area
- Want a spoon shaped tip
Zumio I
- Prefer pinpoint stimulation
- Want a toy that has more focused movements
- Don't like flat tipped toys
The Zumio I features a broad, scoop-shaped head to cover a larger surface area while the shorter neck gives you more control. Zumios have a rotating motion rather than a vibrating sensation to provide the more realistic feeling of fingers. The pressure sensing stem can speed up or slow down depending on how much pressure you apply. You can also alter the 8 speeds manually using the simple buttons on the Zumio I base. Thanks to it’s wider, flat tip the Zumio I is pefect for use on all external erogenous zones. While all Zumio models offer fairly precise stimulation – after all it’s what they’re well known for – the Zumio I is a little less concentrated due to the shape of the tip.

- Delivers broad sensations
- Discreet size
- Stimulates a larger area
- Very loud
- Extremely long charge time

The Zumio I offers elliptical rotation which, if you’ve no idea what that is, means the head moves in more of an oval pattern rather than a circular motion. I’ll be honest though, it moves that fast you’ll be hard pressed to know what shape it’s moving in! And that is kind of what also stops the Zumio I from getting a full 5 stars for me. The whole draw of Zumio is that it doesn’t use vibrations so there’s supposed to be a no buzzy sensation. But there’s some definite buzzy rather than rumbly action going on with the Zumio I. Which begs the question, if it looks like a vibrator, feels like a vibrator and sounds like a vibrator, then it probably is a vibrator! That’s not to say that the Zumio I is bad, far from it! I think it actually does an incredible job. But it is very intense, even with that broader tip to diffuse some of the sensation it’s still super powerful. In my opinion it’s not a toy for super sensitive clits or for anyone who gets easily overstimulated. It’s also worth adding in at this point that all the Zumio models in this list come with a huge 16 hour charge time!
Zumio E Clitoral Stimulator
Zumio E
- Like small tipped clit stimulators
- Prefer hard toys
- Enjoy having the option between pinpoint and broad stimulation
Zumio E
- Like toys that cover a large area
- Like flexible toys
- Want a soft toy
The Zumio E sets itself apart from other Zumio models with its long, firm and curved neck and water droplet shaped tip. The Zumio E has been designed to be small and hard so you don’t get that flexibility that the other Zumio models offer. If you like hard and firm stimulation then I think this is going to be the Zumio model for you. Again it has the 8 speeds and the pressure sensitive stem but the head on this one I think will allow for slightly more broader stimulation (though not as broad as the Zumio I) as well as pinpoint stimulation which makes it stand out from the Zumio E and Zumio S.

- Extremely precise stimulation
- Very powerful
- Focused stimulation
- Not broad enough for some
- Too overwhelming for some

The Zumio E has the ability to offer both pinpoint and slightly broader stimulation unlike any of the other Zumio models. You’re definitely not going to get the level of diffusion you get from the Zumio I but I think that the water droplet shape does allow for some variety of stimulation. The flatter sides do offer a slightly broader feeling but if you want super precise sensations then you can you the very tip of the Zumio E. Again, it’s a extremely powerful clit stimulator and very much seems like a vibrator to me. The Zumio E does have the same elliptical motion as the Zumio I but again its really fast and very powerful. I do like that they’ve created a model with a curved, rigid neck so for those that struggle with the shorter necks of other Zumio models, I think this may overcome some of the problems. I do like that this looks a little sleeker than all the other Zumio models thanks to the black colourway. If you’re completely new to precise clit stimulators then the Zumio E isn’t a bad choice but the firmness, the shape of the head and the intensity may not make it as suitable for complete beginners as the Zumio S or the Zumio E.
Zumio X Clitoral Stimulator
Zumio X
- Like round tipped clit stimulators
- Are looking for extreme pinpoint stimulation
- Want to locate precise pleasure points
Zumio X
- Don't want pin point stimulation
- Prefer flat tipped clit stimulators
- Want slow movements
The Zumio X is probably the Zumio model for more experienced sex toy users. It medium sized, round tip that could be difficult for sex toy novices to work with. The movement on this one is rounded as opposed to the elliptical motion that we’ve seen on the Zumio I and the Zumio E. Which apparently allows users to vary the sensations when you hold it in different ways. The stem on the Zumio X is long and flexible which I think will help when you’re trying out holding it in different ways. Again, much like the other Zumio models, it does have that buzzy sensation to it despite not being a vibrator and it is fairly loud because of that.

- Precise stimulation
- Good for directly targeting pleasure points
- Intense rotations
- Tip feels like it could snap
- Too overwhelming for some

The Zumio X is the original Zumio model. It still super intense which I think is upped even more on this model due to the medium sized rounded tip. The snag with this Zumio model is that it’s extremely precise, perhaps TOO precise and therefore I’d say it’s only for those that know their pleasure points extremely well. The Zumio X will take a bit of exploring with to hit the right spot so don’t expect instant gratification. This is where it loses marks for me because for novices not well versed in their exact pleasure spots, this Zumio could be too difficult to use. Even for those that are very well acquainted with their own bodies, this could prove a pretty tricky to get right and take too long to hit the right area, that instant thrill factor certainly isn’t there for me with this model. Again it moves so fast that it’s hard to understand why Zumio claim that their toys replicate finger movements. Especially is a toy with a head this precise! I personally don’t see how the Zumio X replicates the finger rub method at all! If you’ve got the patience to explore then I don’t think the Zumio X is necessarily a bad choice but the other Zumio models will certainly get you off a lot quicker!
Zumio S Clitoral Stimulator
Zumio S
- Want a short and flexible steam
- Prefer a large tip on clit stimulators
- Like less intensity
Zumio S
- Don't like flexible toys
- Prefer intense motions
- Want broad stimulation
Zumio are renowned for being highly powerful and could be way too intense for some people. They created the Zumio S model to combat this exact issue. The Zumio S has a short but flexible neck and a large round tip to make the stimulation less intense then all of the other Zumio models. I think it’s still pretty powerful but the large tip does offer less intense circular rotations than the Zumio X which moves in the same way and his the same shaped head, albeit a lot smaller than the Zumio S. Alongside the Zumio I, the Zumio S is very beginner friendly due to its less intense stimulation and uniform feel to the rotations.

- Less intense than other Zumio models
- Larger tip
- Flexible neck
- Too precise for some
- Only provides stimulation to one area at a time
Zumio S | |
---|---|
Vibration speeds | 8 rotations |

I like that Zumio understood that their clit stimulators may be too intense for some people so they created a Zumio model for these that prefer less intense stimulation. There’s no missing out on the Zumio experience for anyone now! I do think it is still one of the more intense clit stimulators out there, that’s just due to the precise nature of all Zumios. However the large round tip does go some way to diffusing the intensity to provide a powerful but gentler experience. On a personal note, I do quite like to soft pastel purple colour of the Zumio S. I think it perfectly plays into that idea of this Zumio being a softer and gentler clit stimulator. Unfortunately the design of all Zumios, including the Zumio S, makes them a precise clit stimulator. If you struggle with such precise stimulation or finding the right spot with a precison tip then I think the Zumio S could still be difficult for you to use.

Let's Compare the 4 Zumio Models!
While on the face if it, you might think there isn’t a lot that sets each of these Zumio models apart they do all work in a different way! So let’s see how they all compare to each other across some important points.Price
All four Zumio models come in at the exact same price. While Zumio certainly aren’t the cheapest brand on the market, I think they are fairly reasonably priced for what they offer so really it comes down to whether you want to make the investment in a Zumio or not.Beginner Friendly
All Zumios are relatively beginner friendly I’d say but I’d say there’s two models that are perfect for beginners. Because of their precise nature, Zumio clit stimulators can take a little bit of getting used to. If you’re keen to try one out though, then I’d suggest going with the Zumio I or the Zumio S. The Zumio I has a broader tip so covers a larger area and does diffuse some of the powerful stimulation. Zumio S has been designed to be less intense so could be a good starting point for novices. Zumio E could work for beginners as long as you keep in mind that this model has a short, firm neck. I think the Zumio X is the least beginner friendly as it’s the most precise model and requires you to be really in tune with your exact pleasure points.Functions
All of the Zumio models have 8 speeds but the Zumio I and the Zumio E have elliptical rotation while the Zumio S and the Zumio X have a rounded motion.Overall Score
None of the Zumios came out with an absolutely terrible score but there was a clear high scorer and a clear low scorer. The best rated Zumio according to its Bedbible rating was the Zumio E with 4.9. The shape of the tip on this was really swung it for me. I liked the fact that you could get super precise stimulation if you desired but that you could also diffuse it a little by using the side of the water droplet shaped head. I was also a big fan of the sleek black colour on the Zumio E. The lowest rated Zumio was the Zumio X with 3.9. I really wasn’t a fine of the ultra fine precision on this. I can see it been way too much stimulation for a lot of people and feel like it could be really difficult to have a relaxed, pleasurable time with this toy. I think it could be a great option for those that are really in touch with their bodies and what feels good, but for people who are exploring their pleasure points, this Zumio could be tricky to use!Which Zumio is the best for you?
So what exactly is the difference between all of these Zumios? They’re all clit vibrators, they’re all fairly intense and they all offer 8 varying speeds. And if we’re being honest they all look like electric toothbrushes! Well it all comes down to the head and the neck. These are what really set the Zumio models apart from one another and what offers a different experience. Each Zumio model is also a different colour.Zumio I
Starting with the Zumio I. The neck on this model is fairly short and flexible. The head has a broad tip to diffuse the stimulation across a larger area and moves in an elliptical pattern. This Zumio is available in blue/turquoise colour.Zumio E
The stem on the Zumio E is really different to any of the other models in that it has a curved, rigid neck. The tip of this Zumio looks like a water droplet and can provide varying stimulation depending on how you hold it. This model also rotates in an elliptical pattern. This Zumio is available in black.Zumio X
The Zumio X has a medium sized round tip which provides intense and precise stimulation. The neck of the Zumio X is long and flexible. This Zumio moves in a circular motion and is available in a dark purple colour.Zumio S
The head of the Zumio S is similar to the Zumio X but it’s much larger for a less intense experience. The neck is is short and flexible. This Zumio also moves in a circular motion and is available in a lavender colour. How to Use Zumios
While the Zumios are relatively simple to use given they only have buttons for on and off and altering the speed, it’s always good to keep a few things in mind that will help you get the most satisfaction from your Zumio.
Use plenty of lube

While it meant be tempting to skip the lube for a clit stimulator, it’s not advisable. Zumio are intense and they move fast, having a little extra help from some lube with help them to seamlessly glide across your body without making you sore! A high quality water based lube is best for your Zumio as it won’t degrade the silicone.
Use on external erogenous zones

Yes, Zumios are called clit stimulators, but does that mean you can only use them on your clit? Absolutely not! Their perfect for stimulating all external erogenous zones like the nipples. The Zumio I with it’s broader flat head, lends itself particularly well to stimulation on other body parts.
Have fun!

Zumios are meant to bring intense pleasure and whole new sensations you may never have experienced with clit stimulators before. To have the most fun with you Zumio, I’d advise taking your time to explore with it and learning what you like. There’s no need to rush into having an orgasm. Taking things slower will help you become better acquainted with your Zumio and lead to better fun with it in the future!
How to Clean Zumios
All of the Zumios are made from silicone and ABS so they're totally body safe. They're also non-porous materials so you can be safe in the knowledge that they won't harbour any bacteria. It is important to keep your Zumio clean and it should be washed with warm water and fragrance-free soap after every use.
