The Toy Box Staple
Anyone who has played with adult toys knows that the one toy box staple that everyone should have, is the bullet vibrator. They are small, powerful, portable and versatile. And the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibe fits the bill! So, if your toy box is lacking the single, most important little toy, read on and see if this bullet vibrator is right for you.I Wasn’t Thrilled
When I received the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibe, I was hopeful that it would be my new go-to, quickie, solo toy. First, I was disappointed in the cheap packaging, that looks as if it belongs near the cash register of a XXX-rated book store. The packaging is a bit porn-ish, simple, cheap, folded and tucked cardboard with a clear, plastic piece holding the bullet. Next, I was again disappointed that I needed to go purchase AAA batteries, as it required 1. Yes, I have been spoiled by all of the rechargeable toys available nowadays, and have forgotten my hard-plastic, battery operated roots. So, off to the corner Casey’s I went.Buzzy Vibrations
The Supersex Bullet Vibe by Tracey Cox is a small, travel-friendly size and perfect for rubbing off a quick one before work or bed. Unfortunately, from the get-go, the screw-on cap didn’t want to line up, so it took a minute or three to get it threaded properly. Further, the mediocre vibrations were extremely buzzy and made my fingers go numb before I reached the finish line. In addition, my girly-parts were left numb too, and not in a good way. But, it DID get the job done, as well as being just powerful enough to be used outside of clothing – which is the only way I will use it in the future, as I am simply too sensitive down there. Finally, the tip of the vibrator isn’t rounded, has a little divot, and inside that is a tiny, sharp piece of plastic sticking up. I assume it’s from the manufacturing process, as intentional little shards of sharp plastic aren’t usually the norm for sex toys. So, be warned, and check the bullet for that tiny piece that feels like a sword on naked, lubed body parts.A Ticklish Discovery
Aside from my disappointment and plain dislike for the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibe, there is a bright side to this review. And if you are into BDSM at all, keep reading! You see, as I was holding the bullet in my hand, preparing to make my short, product video, I noticed something. It was so buzzy, it was tickling the palm of my hand. So I started running the the bullet softly, over my hands, arms and chest and lo and behold, a light bulb went on, and this little bullet redeemed itself (well, a little)! Imagine this….tying your ticklish partner down, then running the Supersex Bullet Vibe all over their body, head-to-toe, as they squirm and giggle! I mean, I would lose my mind if anyone went near my feet with this thing! It’s Just Okay
In the end, I have no idea how the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibe actually won an award in the UK. To be fair, maybe the judge was a sex toy virgin, who had never used a toy before, in her life. Because this pro has used better bullets that cost a fraction of the $20 this one costs (currently). But I digress….it will definitely get the job done for solo vibrations and couples play – for instance his perineum, her clitoris, their nipples. Moreover, I feel the Supersex Bullet Vibe is better used as a vibrating tickle-torture device. And I suppose the fact that it’s waterproof and submersible helps, as that broadens it’s versatility. In the end, I wouldn’t buy it, but it may work well for you!The Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibe is a simple, one-button, one-speed design that just about anyone can use. It's small, discreet and portable and is made from hard plastic. Because of that it's not luxurious-looking, nor does it feel the greatest against the skin. However, the classic bullet design is just that, and something everyone needs because of it's versatility. Just be aware that the tip has a divot, inside of which there's a sharp shard of plastic. Though I'm unsure this is a simple fluke, it's better to be safe than sorry.
First off, I had difficulties lining up the cap and getting it to screw on straight. Then, I had problems turning the Supersex Bullet Vibe off and on. Frustrated, I even handed it to my daughter, someone in their 20's, and she too had difficulty pressing the button. Further, sometimes it would come on, then go off, so I needed to press and hold the button in, to keep it running. That being said, I definitely wouldn't recommend it for someone with grip and hand strength issues. Further, if you suffer from neuropathy in your hands, steer clear of this one, as it is extremely buzzy and will make your fingers go numb quickly. Other than that, the one button, single speed makes it simple to use. So, it's definitely newbie friendly.
The Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibe is cheap. It's made from plastic, is rigid and is difficult to turn off and on. Additionally, I noticed that it bogs down when pressed against the body, as well as shorting out when you're clicking the on-off button. In all honesty, I don't believe this bullet will be a long-term relationship. Sure, it's moderately powerful, somewhat quiet, waterproof and small enough to tuck in your handbag. However, you could find a better quality bullet for half the price of this one.
When comparing the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibe to other, like products, you're definitely not getting what you pay for. This bullet is plastic, requires a AAA battery and although somewhat strong and buzzy, only has a single speed. And let's not forget the difficulties in pushing the on-off button, and the shorting out issue. Furthermore, there are no extras, no special packaging, and for the price, the least they could have done is throw in a cheap battery. It's not worth the price, in my opinion.
To be honest, I was expecting far more out of the Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibe. For instance, it's branded by a sexpert, and in the description, this bullet was alleged to have been given an award in the UK, during an adult products show. So, my expectations were up there, for sure. However, when I put the batteries in and struggled to screw on the cap, turn it on, and keep it on, I was completely let down. There was only a single speed, the vibrations were mediocre, at best, and immediately made my hand go numb. Even worse, within a few minutes of operation, the bullet was warm and smelled of melting plastic. Sure, it's a working bullet that's perfectly fine for beginners, or someone wanting a simple, quick, solo-o solution. But the hype definitely didn't fit the product, at all.
Considering the price of this bullet, I expected a little more in the packaging department, but alas, it was minimal. To describe better, the packaging consisted of a piece of card stock, folded over with tabs tucked in and a sticker to keep it closed. The bullet was cradled in a clear piece of plastic, and held in place by 2 flaps of card stock. The outside of the package was a little racy, with a nude couple, her straddled across his lap. And aside from instructions on adding batteries, and a few tips on how great bullets are, that was the extent of the packaging.
The Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibe is made from body-safe, ABS, hard plastic. Therefore, the bullet is non-porous, waterproof and even submersible. It was super easy to clean, I used a sex toy wipe. But you can use soap and water or a sex toy cleaner of your choice. Unfortunately, it didn't come with reusable packaging or a storage bag. However, it's small enough to be tucked into a nightstand drawer, handbag or even a pocket.

The Tracey Cox Supersex Bullet Vibe is a cheaply made, plastic bullet featuring a single speed, with a button that's hard to press, and sometimes, shorts out. The vibrations are okay, not weak, but not super powerful either. However, the vibrations are buzzy, so much so, that your hands, fingers, and other body parts are at risk of going numb. And if you press too hard, the bullet bogs down and sometimes stops vibrating entirely. In addition, the longer you run it, the more it smells of burning plastic. The only redeeming quality, I could find, is that this bullet is so buzzy, you could use it for BDSM tickle torture. Otherwise, steer clear of this one. There are far better bullets available for this price point and lower, which are of much higher quality.
