The Fifty Shades of Grey Anal Lubricant is a thick water-based lube that is to be used during anal sex. It is thick and cushioning, providing an extra layer for sex. It comes in a black plastic bottle, that can be squeezed, with a click-close lid, to accurately direct the lube onto the skin. The design of the branding on the bottle follows the same branding as the other Fifty Shades of Grey sex products, in the same line. The font and colouring recognisable and familiar.

The Fifty Shades of Grey collection of toys is very recognisable, with the same font and grey colour theme running throughout. The typical tie at the top of the bottle to symbolise Mr Grey himself and the blue/grey colouring makes this product very familiar if you know the brand well. Overall, I like the design of the bottle - it is very simple but has a level of sophistication to it. The dark bottle with the silver lid is attractive and attempts to make it look more expensive. The only thing I am not a fan of, is how obvious the bottle looks - I like a lube that doesn't look necessarily like a lube, as I prefer it to be more subtle. Otherwise, it does look good when paired wiht my other Fifty Shades of Grey toys... I do love a theme!
As this is an anal lube, it is certainly thicker than other lubes. Yet, it is still a water-based lube, so it isn't as hard to wash off the skin, as a silicone lube, for example. It is compatible with all sex toy materials and condom types, and as it is a thicker lube, I would also recommend using it with a large, anal toy too. As far as anal lubes go, it is not the thickest or most coating, but it does last long for a water-based lube. Tyoucally, if you are looking for a long-lasting, non-tacky lube, then I would opt for a silicone lube, but this product really doesn't let itself down - even after rubbing and hard friction, it was still lubricating my skin!
I think the Fifty Shades of Grey products are all of the same quality level - not the best but they still work well enough. The bottle lid feels a little cheap, but it does its' job. I think that even if I was to travel with this bottle, it wouldn't click open and leak everywhere. As far as the bottle goes, it is pretty basic, but again, perfect at doing its' job. The bottle can be squeezed easily, as well as the lid having the ability to be screwed off, so you can get your moneys' worth!
The price of this lube is reasonable in my opinion, coming in at $12.99. Granted, it does not come in the biggest bottle, and there isn't loads special about it. Yet, a little goes a long way, so I think it would end up lasting a long time. Depending on how much you are planning to use, or what you want to use it for, depends on how quickly the bottle is going to be used up. I would recommend using a lot of anal lube if you are planning to have anal sex with either a partner or sex toy, as it is going to more more lubricated and comfortable.
When I think of anal lubes, I think of thick liquid that is cushioning, and not too wet and watery. I would say this lube is bang in the middle - it is still a water-based lube, so it has a certain level of wateriness. Yet, it is thick and cushioning when on the skin. I really like the way it doesn't get tacky and still lubricates the skin for an extended amount of time - This is especially key for anal sex as it is an area that isnt self-lubricating.
I have become very anal (excuse the pun) when it comes to what I like and don't like about lube packaging. When I saw this bottle, I knew I was going to like it. Firstly, the lid is a clip-close lid, meaning that even if I have lube all over my hands, it is easy to use. The opening to the lid makes it easy and accurate when squeezing the lube onto the skin. The bottle itself is also easy to squeeze, which is great when getting the last drops out. If I was going to be picky, I would have preferred a pump lid, as it is easier to use and more accurate.
The Fifty Shades of Grey anal lube can be washed off the skin easily, as well as out of bedsheets and clothes. Simply wash it out with hot water and natural soap.

I have tried many products from the Fifty Shades of Grey collection, and this lube fits in nicely with the theme of it all. As far as anal lubes go, it is a great option to have. No, it isn't the most long lasting, or the thickest, therefore I would recommend it more to a beginner. If you are someone who likes to have the whole collection, then this lube certainly fits in the theme. I love the small bottle for travel and ease of use, and the packaging is affective. I am someone who likes it to be a bit more discrete when it comes to 'sex accessories' so the obvious design isn't my favourite, but it is still attractive.
