The LELO Tor 2 is a sleek and simple cock ring design that can satisfy both beginners and experienced toy users. While only having 6 vibrating patterns and two buttons, LELO left out some bells and whistles found on other products and at first impression would seem underwhelming. But I can confidently say this ring makes up for it with an unbelievably soft texture and powerful vibrations.

LELO Tor 2 -

First Impressions

I’ll be honest, the LELO Tor 2 is pretty basic and I wasn’t convinced it could compete with the other rings in the toy box. While the packaging is *chef’s kiss*, a simple ring with a button on both sides is about as plain as you can get. That’s not a bad thing, though, because you don’t want to have to enter the Konami code when preparing for a session unlike some other toys.

Putting a Ring on It

The Tor 2 is one of the more comfortable rings I’ve tried. Not only is the texture silky smooth, but it also has a balance of elasticity and firmness that makes a great cock ring. The power of the vibrations aren’t the strongest however they are enough to be pleasurable without leaving you numb. I was also impressed with how well it stayed in place even with a good amount of lube.

A Multipurpose Accessory

One cool thing that puts the ring’s grip to good use is actually wearing it on your hand. Put a few fingers through and you add some external vibration when fingering. There’s just enough give to keep your digits from turning purple. Being able to bring this ring into foreplay added some major bonus points.

From the Other Side

My partner and I have used various rings in the past so she was able to give some comparison. She liked how the vibration was more “rumbly” than other rings that have a more “buzzy” feeling, which resulted in more intense stimulation. Another bonus for her was how soft the material was and that it stayed in place really well with movement and position changes. One thing she would change is adding more texture to the vibrating surface because “that would be pretty frickin’ rad”.

To Sum it Up

The LELO Tor 2 is just a solid cock ring. It skips fancy features to do what it does best and I believe LELO really nailed it (pun intended.) Whether you’re new to toys or just want a reliable ring, this toy would make a great addition to the collection.

Despite its simplicity, the softness and flexible-yet-firm material sets it apart from other rings by staying comfortable even with extended wear. The grip is very secure and will stay in place even in various positions or with lubrication. One thing I would change would be to add more texture to the vibrating surface to enhance your partner's stimulation. The flat build may make it difficult for them to experience the vibration.

A simple hold of the plus button turns the toy on while holding the minus button turns it off. Pressing the plus button while it's on cycles through the different patterns making the controls about as simple as it gets. Even though the controls are straightforward, the way the buttons are positioned and the lack of a remote feature may make it difficult to adjust during a session. I would recommend finding your favorite pattern before use.

The quality of the toy is impressive for such a basic design. The firm grip has yet to loosen after multiple uses which is something I was initially worried about with the width being as thin as it is. The vibration is so quiet that you really don't notice it even at the higher settings. Even though the material is soft and easy to clean, it attracts quiet a bit of dust and lint which knocks a few points off the rating.

The price is admittedly a bit high for a cock ring lacking remote features and limited pattern options. Other toys in this range also generally have magnetic charging as opposed to plug-in. The value really comes from its reliability and quality of material. Another huge bonus is the included one year warranty that is extremely simple to set up on the LELO website. If something happens to the toy, at least you know you won't have to shell out another $100+.

The best way to describe the performance on this toy is 'solid.' It's great at being a simple cock ring but don't expect much else. The vibrations are satisfying and the battery didn't get hot with extended usage. The battery life lasted around its advertised 1.5 hours and had a decent recharge rate. Its quiet sound and comfortable feel really made the whole experience a set it and forget it.

LELO Tor 2 -

The packaging is pretty freakin' sexy. It's elegant and well built in a way that showcases the toy and nicely stores the extras. While the storage bag is great quality, I have honestly been keeping the toy back in the box not only since everything fits together while also preventing that pesky lint and dust build up. If it was more socially acceptable, I would say it has the potential to be a nice display piece.

The material is really light while also being strong. Despite the exposed USB plug, the toy is still waterproof. The non-porous silicone makes it easy to clean after each use and dries relatively quickly. Simple toy cleaner and lukewarm water is all you need to make the ring look and feel as good as new. As mentioned before, I strongly recommend using either the box or storage bag to avoid dust build up.

LELO Tor 2 -

  • Soft texture
  • Flexible but firm
  • Waterproof
  • Quiet
  • Battery life

  • Pricey for the limited features
  • Limited patterns
  • Not for the very well-endowed
  • Flat vibration surface

All in all, the LELO Tor 2 is great as a simple cock ring. The comfort and feel is one of the best I've experienced and can easily be worn for an extended period of time. The vibrations are enough to do the job while also being quiet and without causing a numbing feeling. It's an extremely reliable product that is worth considering if lacking remote features isn't a deal breaker. It's definitely earned a spot in the collection.

Since the toy is made of silicone, stick to either water based or hybrid lube. Silicone lube or creams will harm and degrade the material.

As with all cock rings, it's important to pay attention to any discomfort that may occur. Rings act by restricting blood flow for a stronger erection and too tight of a grip could be harmful. Wear the toy outside of play for the first time to make sure it's an appropriate fit.

A standard USB cable is included with a charging port on the side of the toy. When plugged in, a light will be pulse indicating that the toy is charging. The light will stay on when the Tor 2 is fully charged. When in use, a blinking white light indicates that the battery is running low.

The toy is fully waterproof so cleaning is about as easy as it can be. Apply a toy cleaner and rinse with warm water before and after use. Avoid using any cleaners that contain alcohol or acetone as it will harm the material.

While the ring can be used in just about every position, making sure the vibrating surface is making contact with your partner's more sensitive areas would be the best. Top choices are missionary, cowgirl, and lotus. Turning the surface pointing downwards can also be great for doggy and other positions.
