The petals decided to give additional feel in the area, however I did not find them particular stimulating. The suction feels good, however I found it if it's not in the right place, it might not work as well, so it's good to move it around a little until you find the right spot. The toy is pretty quiet, and does not make too much noise. It does not get hot when used. It is enough battery life for few uses, as I found it that the toy does not need to be used too long to reach the orgasm. It's easy and quick to recharge.
