Magic Wand Original Review

The Magic Wand is user friendly with two different power options and the off option on one switch. This toy is longer and bulkier than I prefer. It is not rechargeable and does not have a battery so can only be used while plugged into the wall. This limits where I am able to use this toy. It is sleek and made from durable plastic and is very easy to clean. The plastic is white with a short blue shaft the holds the rumbling head that is also white. The head is made of a white vinyl. I wish the look wasn't so plain and boring. I like when there is a design and more colors. I also wish that it had some kind of indentation on the sides so I could hold it better myself.

Using this toy can be a challenge if you don’t have a partner, as it’s quite large. The switch works great and is easy to use. Even while currently in use it’s simple to switch between modes. I wouldn’t suggest this for someone with grip issues as it can be hard to hold on to while it’s rumbling. I’ve had wrist pain myself from holding it too long.

The Magic Wand is made of quality hard plastic. I would say this toy is durable. I have accidentally dropped it off the side of my bed and it hasn’t even scratched it. From the thud sound I was almost more worried that it dented my floor instead of hurting the toy! The head is made of vinyl which is not usually durable. It has the potential to flake, and nobody wants that left on them! I have no noise complaints about this toy. It just makes a low humming rumble type noise. It’s actually a quite nice noise when using it for a back massage.

I paid around $90.00 for the Magic Wand from the local retailer I have in my area. I would have rather got a rechargeable toy for this price. I feel limited on my usage of this toy because of needing the assistance of a partner for use and it being attached to a cord. As much as I do enjoy this toy, I do not think I would pay this much for another one of this type.

I was worried about how hot the Magic Wand would get with all the warnings on it, but have not had that issue yet. The longest I’ve continuously used it is about 20 minutes and have not had any issues. I prefer to find a spot placed on the vulva area that seems to be giving the most pleasure and just leave it there. The rumbling gets me to climax every time using it this way. As long as I have a partner holding it there for me. This is one of the easiest use toys I have.

The packaging was extremely simple — just a rectangle white and blue box explaining what the toy is. I enjoyed the simplicity of this. It was super easy to get to the toy without any hassle. The plastic holding the toy in place was limited to just that purpose. Nothing extra that was just in the way. There was a picture of the toy on the box, so it was very straightforward and there was no confusion on what I was purchasing.

I clean the Magic Wand by using a “sex toy” spray I have and just a washcloth. This toy is not waterproof and should not be submerged or even held under the faucet. Because of the hard plastic and vinyl on the head, it is very easy to wipe down. I store it in my nightstand drawer. It does take up most of the room in that drawer. It did not come with any other type of storage accommodation. I would have liked to see it come with a bag, even a small one that could slip over the head.
