ZALO Sesh Compact Sex Machine — Test & Review

The Sesh is a high quality, luxe silicone with a stunning base. It comes in very sleek gemstone colors and is adorned with a precious little crystal. The base also has a beautiful metallic design that is reminiscent of scales on a mermaid tale that glisten in the light. It's probably the most beautiful and detailed toy that I own and it's almost a shame to keep it tucked away in the little black leather case that it comes with. I love that the tips of the dildo attachments are soft and malleable without looking cheap or like they might flop off if you turn it on high. The soft tip really allows you to work your g-spot with out fatigue or pain, which I think can sometimes be a deterrent when it comes to insertables.

The Zalo Sesh was really easy to use. You're able to put the attachments on with a flick of the wrist and assembling the suction cup took less than two minutes. I was able to flick through the settings on the toy and the remote mid-play very easily as the buttons were very intuitive. Signing up for the app and connecting my toy through bluetooth took less than a minute each. I had no issued with the weight, but I could see someone with grip issues or an arm injury growing fatigued after a while. Luckily, the remote controls allow you to use the suction cup to be hands free if your arm needs a break. If you're new to sex toys or thrusters, I could see you needing to get the hang of balancing so many different types of stimulation and needing to find what combinations work best for you.

The Sesh is a high quality toy. Its design is incredible thought out in almost every detail. It's easy to store as everything has a place in its little case and the case itself is innocuous. The silicone is soft and smooth and the decorative design is almost as pleasurable as the toy itself. The suction cup and its brackets are shockingly sturdy and easy to reposition to the angle of your choosing. The Sesh is on the loud side, but I don't expect many thrusters to be quiet. The only real downside that I experienced was that the charger is magnetic. This can be a positive for some as you don't have to worry about damaging a charging port, but I find it difficult to keep the charger where it needs to be. It is very easy to knock off and not realize until you're ready to play.

The price tag for the Zalo Sesh is definitely very hefty for a sex toy, but I feel that it's in the mid range for a sex machine. You get two well-made dildo attachments, a suction cup base, a leather storage case, a remote control, app access and a one year warranty. The quality of the Sesh and the variety of options that you have access to really justify the cost. I have spent more money on multiple cheap thrusters that do less, so I would suggest if you want to invest in a sex machine to go for a higher quality model.

I was worried that the Sesh would be too stiff and possibly even painful based on photos. I was thrilled to learn how wrong I was. The tip was soft and perfectly squishy and allows you to hit your g-spot without feeling overstimulated. The warming function also felt great. I don't think you realize how impactful small details like that are until you actually experience them. The vibrations were on the strong end of the spectrum which is especially helpful with thrusters as you can lose track of that sensation if you have your thruster on a high speed. The thrusting was faster and more seamless than most human partners could manage, but it didn't feel like it was excessively fast and you have several speeds to choose from. The battery life lasts for about forty-five minutes to an hour, but I think that can differ depending on how many functions you're using all at once. The Sesh is not as loud as most other sex machines, but it is definitely louder than most of the toys that I personally own. I don't think that I could use it discreetly if I needed to, especially if using the suction cup base.

The box that the toy came in was very simple. It was a black box with a few photos of the toy, the color options and a feature key. It didn't give any tips on how to use the toy, but there were a couple manuals in the box that gave assembly and cleaning instructions. I was not blown away by the packaging, but appreciate having detailed instructions in lieu of a flashy box.

The base of the toy is heavier than the attachments, but it does need to have enough stability in order to thrust, so it makes logistical sense. The Sesh is not waterproof and can be easily cleaned using cleansing wipes or towels. This compact little thrusting machine comes in a small, black leather case that is about the size of a shoebox. The case is excellent quality, with a velvety trim on the inside and sectioned off compartments for every piece. It's also very discreet and could easily be hidden on a closet shelf or somewhere similar without guests giving it a second thought.
