  • have a cum-tube dildo and need fake cum for it
  • are turned on by cum
  • want a thicker, longer-lasting lube and are willing to pay more for quality

  • just need some lube for regular use
  • are on a tight budget
  • are not turned on by cum

The Nothosaur Cum Lubricant is a white lube designed to imitate cum. It compliments the ejaculating dildos that Nothosaur also offers, but of course, can be used in place of lube for any sex activity. It is hypoallergenic and water-based, meaning it's safe to use for most people and with most sex toys, including silicone ones.

The design of the container looks like a hand-soap dispenser. I really don't have strong feelings one way or the other about it. It's not visually memorable at all, but nothing about it is off-putting in any way.

I'm not sure what happened but, at one point, the pump for the container just didn't work at all for a full day. I had to pour it into another container to use it with the ejaculating dildo that I reviewed recently. It wasn't until after I had the idea to soak the hand pump in warm water for a while that it began working. Hand pumps in general are finicky, and seem to hate me in general, so I wouldn't say this is all Nothosaur's fault. One the pump does work correctly, the lube is very easy to use. It washes off just as quickly as typical store-bought lube.

Compared to cheap lube, it's thicker, longer-lasting, and colored like cum. Compared to expensive lube though, it really isn't that thick or long-lasting, putting it right in the middle of lube qualities. I was also kind of disappointed that it doesn't really act like cum either. It's too fluid and doesn't want to form strands. I didn't really expect it to be scented, but no, it didn't smell like cum either. The main thing you are getting from this is just the visual appeal.

The price is... kind of frightening. I've seen more expensive lubes, but not many. I also don't think you really get a lot, either. I'm halfway through one bottle and I've been trying to use it pretty sparingly. It's priced as if it's a very high-end lube, and I'm certain you can get cum lubes for cheaper elsewhere. It's not a terrible rip-off, it does have some value over regular lubes, but I'd avoid this if the lube budget is a little tight.

Nothosaur Cum Lubricant -

Nothosaur Cum Lubricant lubricated my sex toys for a moderate amount of time without drying out, while looking and feeling noticeably more like cum. It had a similar consistency as well, but lacked any of the "tackiness" or scent of the real stuff. I'd say it performed well in a lot of areas but there is room for improvement in a lot of others.

Nothosaur Cum Lubricant came with the other things I got to test from Nothosaur, in one package. Nothosaur packaging is really high-effort, and I also received various bonuses such as a storage bag and a keychain! The bottle itself was sealed, and separated from the pump.

Nothosaur Cum Lubricant is water-based, so it's safe to use with silicone toys, and also rinses off or washes out easily. It has a low, body-safe pH and claims it's unlikely to disrupt any natural body processes. Just as a precaution, Nothosaur does warn that it's not safe to consume, but according to their safety and materials sheet, their lube is mostly water with small amounts chemicals such as common food additives (EDTA-2NA) and some non-toxic chemicals used in cosmetics (hydroxyethylcellulose). There is one exception, and that is iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, which is found to be an irritant when inhaled. It's the second-to-last ingredient, and is probably why you should not just chug the bottle of this stuff. I would guess that for most typical lube-based uses, it's pretty safe.

Nothosaur Cum Lubricant -

  • Similar consistency and color to real cum
  • Lasts longer than cheap store-bought lube
  • Safe to use with most sex toys

  • Quite pricey
  • Doesn't last as long as other expensive lube
  • Low "tackiness" or ability to form strands

Nothosaur Cum Lubricant is a good quality lube at a hefty price. It's a great accessory for dildos with a cum-tube, but doesn't need to be paired with that kind of toy to add to your experience. While I don't think it's a perfect 1:1 match, it's still leagues better than using cheap, drugstore-bought lube.
