  • Want something with a hand pump
  • Need something precise
  • Enjoy having multiple pump modes
  • Need an all-in-one kit
  • Want a storage bag

  • Have a smaller budget
  • Aren't sure if pumping is for you
  • Don't want a hand pump

The Bathmate HydroXtreme7 is a complete penis pumping kit. Like lower-end models, the pump can be used by itself for simple, manual pumping. However, this kit sets itself apart from the rest by including a compatible hand pump, a storage bag, and a variety of useful accessories. Allowing the user to precisely and quickly adjust pressure as needed, this kit is ideal for users of all levels. While newer users will appreciate the all-in-one approach, more advanced users can take advantage of the boosted suction levels offered by the hand pump.

Bathmate HydroXtreme -

Right off the bat, the Bathmate HydroXtreme7 was different from the two previous models I had tried so far. Of course, different isn’t always better, but—in this case—it paid off.

First Impressions

The Bathmate HydroXtreme7 came in a much larger box than the other two models, although the box itself was inside of another white, non-labeled box for privacy. Despite being a much larger box, it contains the same picture/ruler/highlights/information layout as the smaller boxes. One thing that is different, though, is the inclusion of a photo of everything inside the box. I though this was helpful, since you’ll be able to ensure that you’ve received everything. If you already threw the box out but are still worried, don’t be! There’s a complete list of the items contained within the kit inside of the box, along with the pump, a storage bag, and a few accessories.

Using the Pump

This pump is a tiny bit more complicated than the other models, mainly because you can use it either by itself or with the included hand pump. Both methods expel water out of the same end. As such, it is a bit more complicated when it comes to opening and closing the ends. Still, I was able to pick it up fairly quickly once I’d done it a few times. Like the other models, I tried this without any water initially. Unsurprisingly, having a hand pump is a huge advantage, and the pump was easily able to stay in place. This setup still isn’t optimal, but it will definitely work so long as you have a bit of lube on hand. The Bathmate HydroXtreme7 was also easy to use in the shower. Adding water really made the suction power come out. Actually, this was the first pump where I didn’t pump it all the way up! This is both a blessing and a curse, as it makes this model the most likely to injure your penis. If you decide to use it without the hand pump, the suction is basically equal to the suction of the Hydromax. Essentially, you’re getting two toys in one with this pump. The price is a bit much, but I think the additional accessories and overall versatility of the kit help balance the cost to a reasonable level overall.

Most of the design of this penis pump is identical to the Hydromax, from the removable "comfort pad" to the clear tube with the "ruler" sticker on the side. The main difference is in the cap. Not only does this cap make it so you can use the pump by itself, but it also lets air pass through so you can take advantage of the included hand pump. The slide on this cap can go either way, which I wasn't a big fan of. Since it closes on both sides and only opens in the middle, it's easy to accidentally re-close the cap instead of opening it. This is, of course, an extremely minor issue, but still worth mentioning.

If the slide on the top only had two positions then I would give this a slightly higher mark. However, that's really my only complaint with the design as a whole. It does a great job at providing precise suction, especially when using the included hand pump. The red tubing was an interesting choice, although it does match the box. It feels fairly thick and doesn't compress at all during use. The hand pump itself feels very high quality and nice in the hands. However, since you do need one hand for the pump and another for the hand pump, I wouldn't suggest this to someone with grip issues, as pumping takes a bit of pressure.

As a whole, this kit definitely feel the highest quality when compared to the two lesser Hydro products. While the pump itself is nearly identical, the addition of a well-made tube and hand pump help make it feel more expensive. The included accessories seem good as well. The three-number lock is a nice touch, although some could realistically just break through the bag anyway. Still, bag is a fairly nice material, coming complete with plenty of space for two pumps. You can actually fit all three in there, although it's a tight fit. It's also worth noting that this kit comes with toy cleaner, adding to the overall feeling of quality.

At nearly $300, the Bathmate HydroXtreme7 is definitely a bit pricey. Assuming that the basic pump is worth its original asking price, the remaining $130 would be applied to the accessories. This covers a lot of different items, including the tubing, the hand pump, the carrying case, the strap, the cleaning tools, a small hand towel, and the combination lock. I do think it's a bit overpriced, but I'd also argue that it gives you the best value for your money. The extras are actually useful and the pumping power of this kit is fantastic, making it a worthy investment (even for the complete beginner).

Bathmate HydroXtreme -

The Bathmate HydroXtreme7 easily exceeded expectations, especially after I'd already tried the two other Hydro products. While the other models provided a decent amount of suction, they never offered more than I needed. I was ready to call it a day, and yet, this pump still had more to give! Despite being able to produce a lot of suction, the Bathmate HydroXtreme7 is completely adjustable in small increments, which I think is its biggest strong point. This flexibility makes it valuable to users at all levels, not strictly expert users alone. As an added bonus, the entire pump setup can be taken apart, making cleanup a breeze.

The packaging on this box is essentially identical to the packaging on the smaller boxes, just bigger. The design mainly uses red as a highlight, matching the red tubing. This box does feature a photo of everything contained in the set on the back, which is a nice touch. The exterior of the box mentions that it's the most powerful Hydropump model and included a handball. While it doesn't specifically tell you how to use the product, I still think this is an improvement over the other box designs.

Bathmate HydroXtreme -

Like the other Bathmate products, the Bathmate HydroXtreme7 is well-made. Both the tube and the hand pump feel especially well-made, and the variety of textures on the toy make it a bit more enjoyable to use the device. Even with the pump, it's still very light (albeit a bit clunky due to requiring two hands). The entire toy can be disassembled, and is easy to clean since it's waterproof. Soap and water works well for this, although it's unlikely that the toy will get very anyway during regular use. I really like how this combo includes a storage bag, as this was sorely missing in the cheaper options. Even better, they've given you a fairly nice storage bag, complete with side pockets for accessories.

Want more control, increased pressure limits, and a handy storage bag to store all your gear? If so, then the Bathmate HydroXtreme is definitely the kit you'll want to pick up! Like other models, the Bathmate HydroXtreme can be used as a standalone pump. However, when you're ready to upgrade your experience, the hand pump comes in handy, allowing you to adjust with more precision and control. It might be a bit overkill for the beginner, but one thing's for sure - you'll never need to buy another penis pump again!

It is safe to use. However, since this pump can create a lot more suction than the other models, I would try to go slowly and carefully until you're used to the device.

Yes. Like the Hydromax, the HydroXtreme is offered in 3", 5", 7", 8", and 9" varieties.

Nope! The best part about this pump is that it can be used standalone (like the other Hydro models), or with the hand pump for extra precision and power.

Yes! If you damage your insert after the warranty has expired, you can purchase a new one for less than $30.

It's not made of leather, but it's a fairly decent bag. Not only does it have enough space for your HydroXtreme and accessories, but it actually has enough room to hold your regular shower things as well.
