This pinwheel is black metal, with three wheels on the end of it. It is not very heavy, but heavy enough that you will feel it in your hand. It is very easy to use, and can be used to tickle, or to hurt if that is what is desired.

Overall Experience

Let me start by saying that I don’t personally like the feel of pinwheels, but I love using them on my husband. And, he enjoys them being used on him! So, I will tell my husband’s experience with this toy. We already had a single wheel pinwheel, but we choose this one to try out the three wheels to see if that made a difference. To me, it doesn’t. It is still just as sharp as the first time I tried a pinwheel. But for him, he prefers the three wheels to the single wheel. It helps to disperse the sharpness and the pressure over a greater surface area, which increases the pleasure. He was under the impression that the three wheels would be triple the intensity, but the opposite was true. The fact that the three wheels made it more subtle came as a surprise to us both.

A Word of Caution

If someone is a beginner, and is just getting into the area of sensation play and/or pain play, these could potentially hurt someone. It all depends on how much pressure you put on the wheels themselves when you are rolling them across someone’s skin. It is very easy to put just slight pressure on the wheels and have indents in skin. The spikes are sharp, so these have the potential to actually draw blood. The triple wheel is less likely to draw blood than a single wheel, but some caution is needed unless pain is the goal.

This toy does look and feel good. But there could be some improvements to the design to make it better. The wheels themselves could be less wobbly, and the handle could be thicker for better grip. The design does work for me personally, but these are my husband's suggestions.

This toy is very easy to use. You just press it against someone and let the toy itself do the work. The wheels roll easily. I took some points off because there is a learning curve. Anyone should really try this on themselves first before they attempt to use this on someone else. This is because of the potential to hurt your partner with it. The slightest pressure can put indents in skin, so trial and error may be needed to find what you and your partner are comfortable with.

The product is of good quality, and doesn't feel cheap at all. I took points off, however, because of the wheels wobbling. I don't know if this is intentional or not, but I feel like it takes away from the quality.

The price is worth it. It is between $24-$30. That's a decent price to pay for a good quality pinwheel. The toy is made out of metal, coated in black. It doesn't flake in your hand, and seems to be steel.

I think for the most part, it did live up to expectations. I did notice the wheels wobbling, but that doesn't seem to have compromised its performance yet. The wheels all move freely, with no binding. It did hurt me to use the toy on myself, but seems pleasurable for my husband. He prefers the triple wheel to a single wheel.

The packaging was very basic. The toy came in a slim box, and inside the toy was wrapped in 3 different sets of plastic. The box has various design specs on it, but not much as far as tips or tricks. There was also a user manual with the toy, which I found odd.

The toy is non-porous black metal. It feels like steel. It does seem high-quality. It is waterproof. It can be cleaned easily with soap and water. It does not come with a storage bag or box.

My overall verdict is that this toy is very good quality, and is easy to use. It can be for beginners or more advanced users. The wheels all turn independently of each other, so you can vary the pressure and the sensation. But because it has three wheels instead of just one, it lessens the sharp sensation of the spikes.
