This is an adjustable leather collar with two steel chains attached at the front which lead to tweezer-style nipple clamps with comfortable plastic-coated ends.

Wearing a collar feels great and, for some people, it symbolises the dynamic they have with their play partner. It can be nice to put on a collar at the start of a scene to get into a submissive headspace. The packaging was just a plastic bag which made the collar and nipple clamps seem more basic than they are. If you’re buying it as a gift, it’d be worth buying a nice box to present it in. The collar seems sturdy and the chain is a good weight – not too heavy but strong. I liked the ring on the front of the collar which was a great point to clip on a lead/leash. I liked how adjustable it was. I liked the nipple clamps. In my experience, the tweezer style clamps are the easiest to operate, they stay exactly as tight as you want them to and they’re quick to remove.Things to consider
The inside of the collar is the soft “fluffy” side of the leather. I think this side will pick up sweat and make-up and be tricky to clean. It’s probably best if it’s to be worn by one person rather than many. The chains and nipple clamps can’t be removed, so you’d need to wear them the entire time you’re wearing the collar, or have them dangle downwards. You’d need to wear the nipple clamps on a loose setting for extended wear.
The collar is a good mid-range collar. It's machine-made but the stitching is neat, the studs are well attached and the buckle feels strong. It's a small detail but I was pleased that the ring which adjusts the nipple clamps is an unbroken circle because this could otherwise have been a weak point. It feels like it's been designed by someone which understands how nipple clamps work! I love the soft plastic coating at the open end of the nipple clamps. This makes them so much more comfortable to wear because there's no metal against your skin. I also loved how adjustable the collar was. I'm a larger woman and have tried toys in the past that are too small to do up. This collar would fit a very wide range of people. The inside of the collar is soft with no rough edges so, again, it was comfortable to wear for a long time.
The collar and nipple clamps are easy to use without instructions. The leather was slightly stiff at first, which made doing up the buckle ever so slightly fiddly, but it loosened up really quickly. Putting a collar onto yourself or onto someone else if you're standing face-to-face can be tricky but this collar was easy to operate even without being able to see.
This is a good quality mid-range collar. It feels well made and care has been taken by the designer to make sure that potential failure points are reinforced. Everything feels strong and I pulled at the chains quite hard without any of the fixings giving way.
This collar/nipple clamp combo it at the more expensive end of the Lovehoney range but I think it's worth spending that bit extra. This is a proper leather collar with proper steel chains and well-made nipple clamps. It should last a good amount of time and, as someone with vast kink experience, I've never regretted buying mid-range and high-end toys rather than the more basic ones. Worth the price.
The collar/nipple clamps should provide lots of fun for someone wanting to look the part while feeling submissive. The nipple clamps are adjustable in tiny increments and they'll stay exactly as tight as you set them, meaning no slipping off. As Lovehoney says, the leather gets softer with use so it's worth taking the time to wear it in or simply sit and hold it in your hands and flex it back and forth. The fixings are really solid and the inside of the collar is soft enough for extended wear. The little ring on the front means you can attach a lead/leash.
The packaging was really basic - just a long thin plastic bag - which is a shame because the toy deserves better. If you're buying this as a gift, consider buying a nice box for it or get one of the Lovehoney Small Bondage Storage Bags.
The materials are robust and well-chosen. The product looks good and it feels like care has been taken with the materials to ensure they're fit for purpose. There are no cleaning instructions and I'm not sure how you'd clean the inside of the collar (the soft "fluffy" side of the leather will sit against your skin and pick up sweat and make-up).
