PDX Elite Deep Throat Stroker Review

My journey with this toy, put simply, went as follows: horror, intrigue, then excitement, followed by disappointment, and at last acceptance.

Horror

I’ll get this out of the way first: I find the look of this toy unnerving. The choice to add a nose plunges it deep into the uncanny valley. Somehow I think adding eyes would have made it worse, so I understand why they didn’t go all the way, but then why add anything other than a mouth? The world may never know. All this to say that upon first seeing this toy on the PDX website, I was somewhat disturbed. The eyeless, yet be-nosed face felt eldritch, like some poor soul consigned to a horrific eternal punishment.

Intrigue

However, what the website claimed the toy to be capable of intrigued me. A realistic deep-throat experience? As a married man with an incredible wife, I’m no stranger to a quality BJ. But they don’t call it a blow job for no reason; if you ever find yourself on the receiving end of such a wonderful experience, be sure to thank the giver of head for putting in the work for your pleasure. And so, seeing a toy that offered such an experience when the real thing should be unavailable was quite appealing. I decided to give it a try.

Excitement

Eventually, it arrived, and I will say that its cursed appearance is doubly-so when up close. But what did it matter; the toy was here! Time to give it a test run. I lubed up, got situated, and went to work.

Disappointment

After just one or two pumps, the plastic shell cracked completely open. With a loud snap it split from stem to stern, only held together at the end by the screwed-on vibrator. I was dumbfounded. I’m certainly no size king, perhaps slightly above average, and even with my standard loadout, it completely broke. But my parents didn’t raise a quitter. The website claimed a realistic deep-throat experience. If I wasn’t going to hold them to that, who would? The world needed me. I carefully reassembled the plastic case, lining up the internal pins with each other and making sure everything was back together, before applying a generous quantity of superglue to the seam on the underside of the toy. I wanted to test one seam at a time, given than the superglue leaves an ugly blemish on the shell. Once it dried, I decided to test it out, going very gently and allowing the unsealed seam to open as it needed. Unfortunately, these efforts were in vain. The glue did not hold. I decided as a last-ditch attempt to try and glue the internal pins to each other, hoping that having a structural reinforcement that deep in the toy would hold it together. I also let it set overnight so as to give the glue ample time to harden. The next morning, I removed my scarred and battered toy and gave it a go. It worked! The glue held the shell together, maintaining the toy in what I presume was the manufacturer’s intended form. One would be forgiven in questioning that presumption, given the toy’s fragile nature. With the shell now intact, and the vibrator screwed on, it was finally time to take PDX on their word. It was time to fulfil my duty to the world and put the toy to the test. It was time to find out the answer to the burning question, the most profound problem of our time: Does the Elite Deep Throat Stroker truly provide a realistic, one-of-a-kind, deep-throat experience?

Acceptance

No. The curved shape of the toy intended to simulate the feel of sliding down a throat is negligible. It feels no different from a straight sleeve. The vibrator is weak. You can barely tell that it’s on other than the noise. The internal texture is so subtle as to be almost non-existent. All-in-all, the promised experience of PDX is nowhere to be found. However, that doesn’t mean the toy is completely without merit. The Fanta Flesh material is high-quality. It has a wonderful firm-yet-supple feel to it that’s honestly pretty awesome. Despite the subtlety of the internal texture, I found the smoothness to be rather pleasant, and actually the most “realistic” part of the whole experience as a real mouth is not filled with random geometric protrusions as one might find on a standard stroker.

Conclusion

The vast majority of this toy’s features utterly fail to achieve what it is advertised to do. Selling a toy that breaks on first usage should be unacceptable, despite the few bits of quality that are admittedly present.
