I was honestly really excited to try out the Saffron Thigh Sling from Sportsheets. I struggle with mobility issues, and this really seemed like a fun way to make sex a little easier for me (I have some giant ham hock thighs, those things are heavy AF). I was totally right, and then some!
First Impressions are Everything
I’m really picky when it comes to sex toy packaging. I don’t enjoy explicit images, or cheap graphics, and the Saffron Thigh Sling has simple, classy packaging. Even the image of the lovely lady on the front using it felt pretty, and unassuming, a feeling that continued once unpackaged as well.Are…Are We One Person Now?
I know the whole purpose of the Saffron Thigh Sling is to allow for hands free positions, and deeper penetration, but I think it needs to come with a warning “Warning… You and your partner may share one body after use“. I’ve been sexually active for a long time, but let me tell you, I don’t think I’ve ever actually worried about someone else becoming a permanent part of my anatomy before. This thigh sling is made from a deep red vegan leather, both the neck and the leg rests, and black nylon adjustable straps. Truly a classy look (is it just me, or is the default color scheme for all BDSM-related items black and red?). It also comes with a large, velvety storage bag! Now if you’ve read any of my other reviews, you know the one thing I harp on is storage bag, storage bag, storage bag! Nothing upsets me more than spending a pretty penny (or several) on a lovely new toy, and it doesn’t come with a storage bag! I don’t know about you, but I never think “Oh this would be a cute vibrator bag” when I’m at the dollar store — just give us the darn bags!
The Saffron Thigh Sling is made from truly beautiful red vegan leather and black nylon adjustable straps. Overall I found the design pleasing, and functional. My only complaint is the nylon straps can be a bit slick and slip during , sending one leg flying straight when you aren't prepared.
This thigh sling is super easy and straight-forward to use, it doesn't come with instructions, but the image on the box pretty much shows you everything you need to know about how to use it. Fit the neck rest around your neck, adjust the straps to your preferred distance, lay back, and enjoy!
The Saffron Thigh Sling is really well made and overall just a comfortable addition to any session. I would like for them to reevaluate the adjustable strap material. But that's just me.
The price on this particular toy varies from storefront to storefront. SheVibe carries it for $59, and I do think that is a fair price for the quality of this accessory, especially since it incudes a storage case.
Over all the performance was on par with my expectations. There are no extra features, it doesn't vibrate or anything, it simply holds you in place comfortably , and it does it's intended purpose just fine.
I'm a stickler for classy packaging. And Sportsheets really did a wonderful job here. Simple, study packaging that features a woman demonstrating how to wear the sling, without feeling graphic. Inside the sling, and storage bag are tucked securely in the box with no extra plastic or unnecessary packing.
The Saffron Thigh Sling is made of vegan leather and nylon straps. Making it waterproof and easy for clean up. Just wipe the surfaces down with antibacterial soap or your favorite toy cleaner, dry and tuck away in it's cute little bag.
