System JO Cool Mint Lube Review

One thing that I love about System JO lubes is that they match the features of the lube, to the design of the packaging. For example, their warming lube is red, to represent heat, and this lube is green to represent mint. I love it! It really shows they have put thought into the design and makes it easier for the customer to decipher which lube is which. The pictures of mint leaves leaves nothing to the imagination, as well as the clear labelling of what the lube is flavoured. I love the design of this bottle - it is fun and clear. I wouldn't say it is the most luxurious looking bottle on the market, but it is one of the more interesting ones!

As this lube is a water-based lube, it was very easy to wash off my skin. Using some hot water and natural soap, it didn't linger on my skin, which is something that I hate! It is also compatible with all sex toy materials and condom types, which is great for someone wanting to use silicone toys. I wouldn't recommend using this toy with large anal toys, as it felt very thin and not coating, which I don't think would be great. It felt very watery and smooth throughout use, and didn't become tacky at all - I really hate when lubes begin to feel sticky and tacky, because I then have to constantly think about re-application. This lube acted exactly how I wanted it to - natural and wet!

The quality of this product was not the best, but definitely not the worst! It is thinner than I typically like, but it acted well as a lubricant, by making sex more comfortable and tasteful! This product is FDA approved, which is always reassuring, especially a flavoured lube! It has a neutral pH balance of 7, which is pretty good as it reduces the chances of a vaginal infection. I would have liked a more acidic lube, in order to attempt to match the pH of a natural vagina, but it isn't a deal breaker. I think this lube would be better for penis owners, as it includes the ingredient glycerin, which typically doesn't react well with a vagina, and often least to vaginal infections. Other ingredients in this lube include: Aqua, Aroma (Flavour), Cellulose Gum, Methylparaben, Propylparaben and Menthol, as well as being sugar free and vegan!

This lube has a very attractive price tag, especially for a flavoured lube that is water-based! I would buy this lube again due to is natural mint taste, not synthetic mint taste, as well as it large sized bottle and trust worthy and recognisable brand name.

This cool mint lube is not the longest lasting lube in the world, as it is so thin. Typically for thinner lubes, you have to re-apply often, as they don't seem to maintain their slide. However, if you're okay with re-applying every once in a while, then this lube is great. It feels soft and natural on the skin, and sometimes doesn't even feel like you're using lube! I think it would be great for small sex toys, but not larger ones, and especially not anal toys! I would recommend a thicker lube for this. The cool mint lube would work perfectly for foreplay, to turn you and your partner on.

Bottle design (practical) The System JO bottles are some of my favourites - they are tall so I don't have to replace them very often, as there is enough product to last a long time! They are made of thin enough plastic that I can squeeze the bottle easily, even when I have lube on my hands. I hate when the bottle is made of too hard plastic, because then the bottle slips out of my hands and I didn't even get any lube out of the bottle! The click-close lid is easy to use and you can aim the lube accurately. All in all - great bottle design!

This water-based lube certainly made the bed sheets wet, and was soaked up pretty quickly. However, it never left a stain, even when dry. After washing the sheets in the washing machine, they were good to go again and again!
