The Lelo Mia 3 is a small, lipstick shaped vibrator, with 8 different settings. It is tiny, lightweight, and almost completely silent. It is made with body-safe silicone, and has a built-in USB charger for easy recharging without any extra pieces. The Mia 3 is completely waterproof, and can be taken along, and used in as many ways as your imagination can invent.

Tiny Lipstick Fun!

The Mia 3 mini-vibrator is the most fun I’ve had with a tiny vibrator. The design itself makes it a really fun toy to have in the collection. Shaped like a tube of lipstick, the vibrator will blend into a pocket or purse easily without drawing any suspicion. The body-safe silicone gives it a silky-smooth texture without sacrificing the facade of it being a lipstick tube.

How To Charge

Charging the Mia 3 is easier than any vibrator I’ve ever had. The top of the vibrator twists off, just like a lipstick tube, to reveal a built-in USB that will plug into any USB charger. I’ve charged it on a wall charger, and my computer, both of which took the same amount of time; about two hours. I think this is, by far, my favorite feature. Remembering to drag along the right charger for the right vibrator is annoying. Having everything contained within the vibrator make travel with it that much more convenient.

Lots Of Settings

The 8 settings of the Mia 3 feel like so much more. Scrolling through the speeds to experience each one sent me on a loop, wondering when it would end. The vibrations build up slowly, and are intense by the final speed. There are four vibration patterns beyond just the four speeds, and they all transition seamlessly as you press the small ‘+’ and ‘-‘ buttons to change them.

Tiny Button Issues

I have only two complaints about the Mia 3. The first is the ‘on’ and ‘off’ functions of the vibrator. I ended up having to download the manual to figure it out. I would have appreciated at least a single piece of paper in the box with the basic on and off instructions. It may be intuitive for a regular buyer and user of toys, but someone just getting this as their first, or even just an upgrade, they would need instructions. The second is the design of the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ buttons themselves. In the effort to make the vibrator look as much like a lipstick tube as possible, the buttons are very small and blend into the silicone of the vibrator. When using it, the vibrator can turn in your hand, and you can loose where those buttons are in the moment. I don’t know how I would fix it, but it is difficult to find in the heat of the moment.

I love most of the design of the Mia 3. Holding onto the Mia 3 is not a problem. Keeping it in place and the feel of the vibrations is fantastic. It can be confusing how many times to hit each button to change the settings, however. I highly recommend downloading the manual from Lelo's website to learn how to work it properly.

The Mia 3 is fairly expensive compared to other high-end small vibrators. It's certainly not the most expensive; some can cost $20-$30 more. This is certainly a high-end vibrator and has some quality features, but the box only comes with the vibrator itself and a drawstring travel bag. There's no charging cable, since the toy has a USB charger built in.

The vibrations of the Mia 3 are intense and the silicone is soft. The feel is direct and luxurious. The vibrations are nearly silent, and the battery life is enough for some lengthy playtime. Recharging takes about two hours. I used it alone and with my partner and we both enjoyed it. It will be great to take on vacation with us!

The Lelo Mia 3 packs a big punch in a tiny vibe! It is compact, with no extra charging pieces, making it perfect for travel, and discreet packing. Despite some fumbling in the beginning, this vibe quickly proved itself a powerful member of the vibrator team.
