Dame Pom — Test & Review

The Dame Pom is ergonomically-shaped, almost like a marshmallow peep, with no internal hard body, allowing it to reach every bend and curve. The full silicone body is velvety to the touch and feels like a luxury toy from moment one.

The Pom is honestly super easy to use, there's only 3 buttons to choose from so it's not overwhelming at all, and it has a magnetic charger, so that's even easier. I do have to say that if you're using it for grinding, it is easy to bump the buttons and accidentally change the settings, but that's not a deal breaker.

Dame products are known for their quality, and the Pom is no exception, from the packaging, to the actual design of this toy, you can really tell every step was thoughtfully planned out and executed. Their toys are designed with vaginas in mind every step of the way.

For a vibrator, coming in at $95 the Dame Pom is a little pricey, however if you're looking for a company that supports sexual wellness and really cares about their target market, it's honestly worth the price. I've not come across another vibrator that really felt like it was 'for me' before this one, and that feeling is important, at least for me, when purchasing a product.

For its little size, the Dame Pom packs a comfortable but powerful punch! The lowest setting is a wonderful warm up, and the highest setting is still whisper quiet. I haven't ran the battery out, but the user manual says it has a one hour battery life, which is a little on the short side compared to other rechargeable toys, but honestly you'll be finished and ready for a snack before the battery runs out. I'm sure of it. Coming in with a 2 hour charge time, I would definitely say using this toy takes a little bit of planning, but overall it's not a terrible charge time. Maybe play Candy Crush while you're waiting though, your phone will be done charging before the Pom.

I truly cannot say enough about the Dame Pom's packaging. The sleek blue box is so appealing to the eye, and the internal packaging is the same shade of blue, making it a stark and lovely contrast against the pale periwinkle toy hiding inside. The Pom also comes with a storage bag! (If you've read any of my other reviews you know that's my biggest gripe with toys at higher price points). It also comes with a charging cable, and a cute little instruction manual.

The Dame Pom is 100% silicone, meaning it is 100% waterproof. Clean up is a breeze with toy cleaner, or some soap and water. Dry it off, put it to bed in it's little bag and you're all set. As with any silicone toy, it is recommended to use water-based lubricants.
