If you enjoy firm dildos, shallow thrusts, and direct clitoral stimulation- the Jack Rabbit Signature Thrusting Rabbit may become your new best friend. This waterproof vibrator offers 5.25-inches of insertable length and a clitoral-titillating rabbit. Explore 21 pleasure combinations, with 3 thrusting speeds and 7 vibration modes. Not in the mood for dual stimulation? No problem! Separate motors allow users to control the thrusting head and vibrating rabbit independently. Though, a word of caution: the design doesn't suit all anatomies, and my battery fell short of the advertised run-time.

The Beast and the Rabbit

I was a little worried about taking on an insertable toy with a 1.5-inch diameter. My comfort zone for vaginal penetration sits between 1-inch and 1.3-inches. Anything over that takes a chore of preparation, often without successful insertion. However, I’ve lately been trying to “gauge” up to 1.5-inches. My last vaginal thruster, the Lovense Gravity, measured 1.46 inches in diameter. While it did take a decent amount of stretching, the experience gave me the confidence to conquer this rabbit.

Slow and Steady

My confidence faltered upon receiving the Jack Rabbit Signature Thrusting Rabbit in person; but the large box and true-to-size graphic were far more intimidating than the actual toy. I always precede vaginal penetration with a clitoral orgasm, since climax can increase lubrication and relax the pelvic floor. I then take my time working my way up to the insertable toy. This may include using my fingers, clean anal plugs (vaginally), and smaller insertable toys, always adding lubricant as needed. I forego anal plugs during such challenges; for, they press upon the vaginal wall and create an even tighter feeling. It’s important to remain relaxed, focus on breathing, and prioritize pleasure and safety. Remember, there are no obligations beyond the user’s comfort.

Vibrations

It took about 40-minutes of preparation to insert the head of the Jack Rabbit though, not completely comfortably. My cervix is a little low, so I couldn’t insert the shaft deeply enough for the rabbit to stimulate my clitoris. While I could bend the flexible silicone to meet my clit, it required being held to remain in position. Additionally, the firm silicone became uncomfortable — almost sharp — as the thrusting rabbit vibrator repeatedly flicked across delicate skin. Vibrations were concentrated in the rabbit and gently rolled through the shaft. They were very slightly rumbly with upper-midrange power. Out of the three speeds and four vibration patterns, I found the lowest options to be the rumbliest. All four patterns provided intermittent stimulation, rather than consistent buzzing. For this reason, I preferred using the steady speeds.

Thrusts

After relaxing into the vibrations, I began exploring the thrusting function. There are three thrusting modes, all of which perform rapid strokes. This was a bit of a bummer for me, as I prefer slower strokes. These shallow pumps aren’t really cushioned by the firm, silicone head. The “lip” of the head extends slightly below the mechanics, protecting delicate skin from the plunging cylinder. This was a huge relief; nothing disqualifies a thrusting vibrator from my toy box like unexpected pinching (looking at you, Eclipse Thrusting Rotator Probe!). What impressed me the most was how quiet the motors were compared to my other two thrusters. By no means is this toy quiet; but it sounds more like a rocking rattle than mechanical screeching.

It's hard to create a sexy rabbit vibrator. Dual motors require a somewhat bulky design, and the clitoral appendage has the sex appeal of a claw... actually, claws are kind of sexy, but I digress. Calexotics succeeded in elevating the aesthetic with purple silicone, gold hardware, and indicator lights. The semi-phallic silhouette may ignite one's fire, or it may snuff out desire in penis-repulsed users. Personally, I don't love it. The tip resembles circumcised glans, while the bold color and clitoral-stimulating portion contribute to a more inanimate appearance (which I prefer). Looks aside, the firm silicone nicely buffers from pinching.

Operating this toy during use proved to be somewhat challenging. The control panel consists of three buttons: power, vibrations, and thrusts. Since there's no "back" switch or memory chip, users must cycle through modes to reach their desired setting. These controls are installed at the base, which complicated operation while inserted. Adding tangible indicators to each button would aid in sightless control. Remote or app compatibility would further increase accessibility. Finally, the size may be overwhelming for those with vaginismus; and holding the vibrating rabbit in place can be a nuisance.

Even though this wasn't my favorite toy, I respect the quality. It's crafted using body-safe materials, engineered with solid machinery, and feels extremely durable. The strokes may not be the longest, nor the vibrations the rumbliest- but the motors consistently exhibit moderate power. Though there's hollow space between the accordian folds and mechanical plunger, I trust it'll withstand tearing. And, as mentioned, these motors are impressively quiet for a thruster!

The Jack Rabbit Signature Thrusting Rabbit retails for $109.99 at Adam & Eve. It comes with a charger and user guide, but no storage bag. Thrusters typically range between $75-$200, while rabbits can cost anywhere from $40 to $260. This ranks the Jack Rabbit's price tag as lower-midrange for this category of adult toy. That being said, it's still not cheap. I'd personally not splurge so much on this thrusting rabbit, especially without app-control. Whether or not I'd advise others purchase it relies on the prospective buyer's anatomy and desires.

Unfortunately, this toy wasn't compatible with my body at all. The shaft was too girthy to comfortably insert, and the rabbit sat too low to effectively stimulate my clitoris. It was, also, advertised as having a "cushiony tip." While there is a slight amount of give during thrusts, the silicone was quite firm. Additionally, the battery didn't reflect the advertised specifications; it's supposed to take up to 2.5 hours to charge, and only took about 1.5 hours. This was great, except it also decreased the already limited runtime by up to 25 minutes. The battery did get warm during use, but the silicone insulated well.

The Jack Rabbit Signature Thrusting Rabbit arrived in suprisingly creative packaging; an art deco pattern ornated the white dustjacket, which displayed a true-to-size graphic of the rabbit. A portrait and message from the founder of Calexotics was printed upon the side of the box- a sweet detail. It did have a couple pieces of tape where the box met the dustjacket, which technically is a tamper evident measure. However, I prefer something a little more secure. Upon removing the jacket, the internal box opened in a French door-style. The charging cable and user guides were located in a metallic gold drawer built beneath the product cradle. So cute!

This item is made of silicone and ABS plastic, so only use it with water-based lubricants. Clean before and after each use with warm, soapy water. Spray with a sex toy cleaner, then allow it to fully dry before storing. Travel lock can be activated by simply holding the power switch for three seconds. As with all toys containing electronic components, it's important to protect the Jack Rabbit Signature Thrusting Rabbit from extreme temperatures. To charge, simply plug in the USB charger. The buttons will blink as the rabbit charges, then become solid when the battery reaches 100%.

Although I appreciate the durability and waterproof feature of the Jack Rabbit Signature Thrusting Rabbit, the dimensions proved too great to conquer. The motors perform efficiently, without being overpowering; and, while I enjoyed the short thrusts, a slower speed would have been preferable. As with most rabbit vibrators, the design limits anatomical compatibility. It's most suited for those with a high-resting cervix and a resilient clitoris. It'd be a worthy option for those who can comfortably fit 5.25-inches and 1.5-inch diameters vaginally, enjoy firm clitoral stimulation, and prefer fast (yet gentle) thrusts. Those with hypersensitive clits, vaginismus, or dexterity limitations may wish to consider alternative options.

There is no user manual available online for the Jack Rabbit Signature Thrusting Rabbit, but it’s quite simple to use. Check out my How To guide above for ideas.

There's no flared base on this toy, so I'd advise against using it anally.

While the rabbit portion is made from flexible silicone, it's not exactly adjustable. If the user wishes to maneuver the rabbit to a different angle or pressure, they'll have to hold it in place.

Yes! The Jack Rabbit Signature Thrusting Rabbit is fully waterproof, so it can be used in the tub or shower.

This isn't a quiet toy, but most thrusters aren't. I've tried three thrusters, and this is the quietest of them all. However, the thrusting function is still louder than the average vibrator.
