The Lovehoney Power Play G-Spot Vibrator is a super easy-to-use, battery-operated, toy that gives deep pressure just where you need it. The vibrator is a very rigid silicone that has an extremely curved shaft which presses firmly on your g spot. It's perfect for beginners as well as people with more experience.
It Didn’t Start So Great…
I usually get really excited as soon as I start unboxing a new toy and getting it ready for use, but I was a little disappointed with this. Firstly I’m not a fan of the slogan on the front “are you woman enough?” Just seems a bit off to me — I’m not sure how to explain it other than it seeming like if you don’t like it you’re not womanly or something. I then tried to insert the batteries and struggled a little taking the cap off and putting it back on. It’s not as difficult as some toys, but still not the easiest to grip and turn for me, but I do have a very poor grip strength due to health reasons.Things Started Looking Up
It seems wrong now I say it, but I usually play around with a toy while it’s off rather than flicking through the settings before use. Some silicone toys feel like you need a tonne of lube to insert or they’ll get stuck, but this was so easy to slide right in. It’s also a really nice shape and size to slip in and fit comfortably.I Guess You Could Say the Story Reached Its Climax…
It didn’t take long before I felt comfortable enough to turn the Power Play vibrator on and I was very shocked at how powerful it is. Usually the first setting on a toy is pretty much useless to me, but this is lovely. I use it most the time but I did have a play around with the other 3 speeds and 4 patterns. The patterns are all pretty simple, but the third speed is very intense. I’m not sure if it just feels more intense because of the pressure on the g-spot or whether it actually is but it’s GOOD. I think the reason it seems even quieter is because I use the lower settings, but for me, I don’t need any more. Overall I’m very happy with my new toy and can’t wait to keep using it!
I love the look of this toy. It's such a simple and elegant design that is also practical. I find most g-spot toys barely have a curve so this was a really nice change.
The Lovehoney Power Play is very simple to use with just a couple of buttons. The soft silicone is easy to grip in order to use but I struggled with inserting the batteries a little. It's not as difficult as other toys as there are little indents for your thumb/finger, but it's still only a small cap to grab and twist.
As with most Lovehoney products, the quality of this vibrator is incredible for the price. The toy feels sturdy and is a really soft silicone, it looks and feels stunning. It is pretty quiet compared to a lot of vibrators, I think most the vibration seems to be focused on the end which makes it a bit quieter when inserted too.
When you're looking at toys (or anything really) you can get a bit worried when something is cheap that it's going to be poorer quality but this isn't. It's one of the best value toys I've come across. It doesn't come with any extras but you don't expect it to at that price.
The Lovehoney Power Play G-Spot Vibrator is billed as having intense vibrations, and high pressure on your g spot as well as being smooth and easy to insert. It does exactly that! It feels SO good. It's surprisingly quiet and probably one of the easiest toys to use.
I prefer the slightly more simple and discreet look in the packaging for a toy so it's not as obvious in the recycling bags. The colors work well together and it just looks very neat and pretty. I did however feel a little odd about the slogan they chose on the front of the box.
The Power Play is made from latex- and phthalate-free silicone. It feels really smooth and soft to touch and has a decent weight — not too heavy and not too light. It's splashproof rather waterproof so can be cleaned under a faucet as long as you don't get the battery pack wet and you don't fully submerge it underwater. It's easy to clean with any sex toy cleaner or wipes as it has no ridges or awkward bits to try and get to. You'll have to find your own way to store it but it's easy enough being a pretty standard size and material.

The Lovehoney Power Play is the best g-spot vibrator I've found! I used to think maybe g-spot toys just weren't for me, but now I know I just needed the right one. It's a shame that it's battery-operated, as I usually prefer rechargeable, but it's incredible.
