The Le Wand Petite is a sleek, small and powerful wand vibrator. Will your nerve endings sing with this microphone-looking sex toy?

Le Wand Petite -

My first impression was that the Le Wand Petite’s box was big, and I wondered how big was the toy inside! However, the Le Wand Petite emerged really petite. Its silicone neck is slightly bendable. You really notice its flexibility only when you knead the labia with the silicone head, which is surprisingly small, like my thumb in length. When you press this small head against the pubic mound, vibrations are felt all the way in the stomach and inner thighs! The lowest intensity is certainly powerful, and you can dial the intensity up to ten.

Noise

Testing its noise level, I placed the Le Wand head up between pillows, turned it on the lowest intensity, went out of the room and closed the door, and I felt vibrations reverberating through the floor and walls. I heard the sound too. I think it’s worrisome because roommates/family members in the next rooms will hear and even feel the device work through the shared walls. When I used the toy on me, I didn’t realize it was so resounding!

Learning Curve

The Le Wand Petite requires time to train and adapt your body to its vibrations, especially if you’re not used to such powerful vibrators. It’s been over ten less-than-rewarding sessions and I’ve yet to orgasm with it. For me, its vibrations leave after effects like numbing and desensitization for the rest of the day. After using the Le Wand, I felt my muscles twitch repeatedly in the pelvic area, not in a sexual way but like they twitch after too much walking. Another vibrator made me orgasm in the first session, so something seems amiss with Le Wand Petite’s vibrations.

Comparing the Le Wand Petite to the Le Wand Original

While you may not have heard of the Le Wand Petite before, you may be familiar with its big sister, the original Le Wand. My fellow Bedbible reviewer Rachel tested out the Le Wand, so let’s take a look at how they compare! As you might expect, the Petite is smaller — it’s 10 inches long to the original’s 13 inches, and the head is about an inch smaller. It’s also 1lb lighter than the original, making it much more comfortable to hold for longer sessions. Rachel and I gave our Le Wands very similar scores on vibration power and rumbliness, so you don’t have to worry about compromising on that front. Additionally, while the Le Wand Original is not waterproof at all, the Petite is splashproof, so it’s easier to clean. However, the Petite does have a shorter battery life, though the charging time is also shorter!

Le Wand Petite -

The design of the Le Wand Petite is pretty, sleek and elegant. The lush shimmery color makes the toy look more expensive than the famous Magic Wand!

Le Wand Petite -

The Le Wand Petite is very easy to use. The device has just three intuitively understandable buttons: "+", "~", "-". If you're looking for a wand vibrator but are worried about it being too heavy or bulky, the Le Wand Petite is a great compromise, and it is significantly lighter and smaller than most other massage wands out there.

Le Wand Petite -

Aesthetics-wise, the Le Wand is pleasant to hold, and it looks and feels expensive. However, when it comes to its noise level, I could hear the Le Wand on the lowest intensity behind two closed doors in the next room with a shared wall.

The Petite looks and feels like a premium toy. For around $150, you get a very thoroughly packaged, beautifully designed, powerful wand with a USB charger and a plastic zipper storage bag. I think he price is reasonable. For reading, there is an instruction manual in 8 languages, and a book about masturbation advertising various attachments for this wand and other Le Wand products.

You can feel the vibrations of the Le Wand Petite in the handle to an extent, but it's not too annoying. You can forget about vibration in the handle and focus on your arousal! The wand also doesn't get hot as you use it. When the battery is running out, the wand works as powerfully as ever until shut-off. The charging time is 2 hours and the use time is 1 hour.

This toy comes in white box with occasional splashes of the dusty rose color and brief information about the materials. It is plastic packed in plastic in cardboard in plastic — so many layers for safety and security. I do love that they made the finger grooves in the plastic package on both sides of the wand, making it easier to get the toy out.

The head, neck and buttons are made from body-safe silicone, and the handle is made from ABS plastic. On the official website it's advertised as shower-friendly. The manual says that it's splashproof and safe to use in the shower but it shouldn't be submerged in water fully. I wash it under the tap, trying not to immerse the air openings and the charging port. Once clean and dry, you can store it in the accompanying storage pouch.

The Le Wand proved to be for the experienced users, trained to orgasm from powerful vibrations. With limited experience, its vibrations are still capable to arouse, but the feeling may be elusive.

The first intensity is powerful enough to reverberate through the floor and walls! In fact, I didn't feel much increase when dialling higher intensities.

In the manual, it's advised to switch it off after 15 minutes of use.

Using lube is recommended. It will prevent any irritation of the skin with the powerful vibrations, and may also help with feelings of numbness.
