Lelo Ina Wave 2 — Test & Review

The Lelo Ina Wave 2 design is a perfect specimen of the Lelo look. Its silicone is a bright pop of color, in my case blue, with a sleek white handle. It's cute and simple, dare I say sophisticated? Lelo toys are stunning to look at, and they feel just as luxurious. It's eye-catching in its minimalism, and the Ina Wave 2 doesn't disappoint in that department! I love how soft the silicone is and how the plastic handle isn't too clunky. In theory, the shape is great, too. I enjoy the look of the tapered penetrative arm, as it makes it easy when penetrating and pulling out.

There was a learning curve as I used the Lelo Ina Wave 2. I'm not used to having so many buttons! Plus, I had to envision them upside down while I had it inside of me. I kept clicking the mode selection button when I meant to hit the intensity, and vice versa. Maybe that's just me not having great coordination, but all the buttons got to be a little tedious for me. I also struggled with the angle in general, with a plastic handle the toy is stiff to hold onto. Because it doesn't seem to fit well with my body, it wasn't easy to find a good, pleasurable angle to hold it at.

You can't deny that Lelo products look and feel like a million bucks. It's a luxury brand, after all! Even so, after just a handful of uses I noticed that the silicone seems to ride up out of the ABS plastic handle at the edges, just barley. I can push it back under, it's so subtle, but it was a bit of a shock when I first noticed it. For such a price point and the high quality of the brand, I didn't think I'd see such a thing happen. Besides that hiccup, it's a great quality toy with a powerful motor and body-safe materials. The Lelo Ina Wave 2 is one of the best rabbits out there in terms of quality!

While you can often find this toy on sale nowadays, on the Lelo site the Ina Wave 2 runs for about $200. This is one of the priciest rabbits on the market. To be fair, you're getting a toy that is made from body-safe and expensive-feeling materials. It's a great quality toy! Plus, you get the Lelo brand pampering with a nice charger for the toy, a sample of water-based lube, a 10-year warranty, and a sleek toy bag. For some, the Ina Wave 2 is worth the money. Personally, I think that there are better toys, made for a lot more body types, on the market for those not wanting to splurge so much.

The Lelo Ina Wave 2 has a long battery life, rumbly vibrations, and is fairly quiet. In theory, it performs great! In my own case, it's a bummer that it doesn't seem to fit well against my body. I do enjoy the penetration with it, its design is made for a smooth and comfortable experience. (If only it didn't poke and prod with that awkwardly shaped small external arm!) I do wish that the battery could charge a bit faster, two hours to charge feels a little awkward compared to other toys I've had in the past.

I love Lelo's packaging. It's pristine, and they show off their minimalist and lavish brand with it! I even love the little holographic sticker to show that the box hasn't been opened before. Little touches like that show me that Lelo cares about its look! The box is simple and black and showcases a clear view to the Ina Wave 2 itself inside it. The back of the box shows off the features of the vibrator as well for a little hint as to what you'll be getting to play with!

The materials of the Ina Wave 2 are body-safe and non-porous. I love the silicone, it's soft and slick for easy and comfortable penetration. Even the ABS plastic feels less cheap than other toy brands! It's high-quality and adds to the luxurious feel of the experience. Not only that, but this toy is waterproof! Make sure to clean it with soap and warm water, or your favorite toy cleaner and slip it into its gorgeous Lelo toy bag when you're done. It's so easy to clean and care for!
