First Impressions
Once the Spot arrived, I was so excited to unwrap it. The box itself is round and nothing like I’ve seen before. I loved the simple, nude design that’s very gender-neutral and editorial, just like the whole Maude brand. Inside the small round box, I found a high-quality canvas pouch with a vibrator inside. Once I unzipped the pouch and took out the vibe, things went south… I was surprised by how hard, rigid, and light the G-spot vibrator was. It barely weighed anything compared with some of my other vibrators, and it was immediate alarm for me. Another thing that alarmed me was how hard and rigid it felt. Like, I’m not joking when I say it – it’s rock solid. The silicone is soft, but it has absolutely no bounce. After a few days of looking at the toy sitting next to my working desk, I finally thought to myself: “Ah, what the hell! Just try it and be done with it.” Honestly, I had so little hope that this vibe would be good that I almost didn’t want to try it. So dramatic, I know, I know. But with all the hype and praise Maude receives, I had high expectations. So, on my lunch break, I decided to give the Spot a go. And boy, was I pleasantly proven wrong! First of all, the shape made it so easy to hold against my clit to start with. The vibrations are strong enough so I could feel it even over the clothing. And against the skin, the silicone feels super soft. Once I applied lube and inserted the toy, I was surprised that it didn’t feel uncomfortable or unpleasant, considering how hard it was. I found the shape to be absolutely perfect at different angles, and there was zero discomfort. The silicone feels buttery soft internally, too. My last pleasant surprise was how good the vibrations felt. Sure, there aren’t many speeds, but every speed is just the right intensity. And most importantly, it’s rumbly. The vibrations are rumbly and powerful, and even after I had an orgasm, I didn’t feel numbed or overly sensitive. That’s a huge plus for me because I hate feeling soreness after using a G-spot vibrator.
The Maude Spot looks beautiful. The minimal design makes it look very premium and luxe. However, once you take it in your hand, the toy appears less premium because it's so light and the material is rigid. The curve is perfect and hits all the right spots, and the round head feels very pleasurable. While there is no bounce to the silicone, it still feels nice and soft against the skin.
If I was a newbie in the sex toy game and had no idea how to use sex toys or which one to choose, but I wanted one for G-spot stimulation, the Spot would definitely be at the top of my list. As I already mentioned before, the vibrator looks premium until you take it into your hands. The shape is lovely, the silicone is soft, and the vibrations are rumbly and powerful. The fact that it's so rigid and hard is a little bit disappointing. It doesn't feel sturdy because it's so light, but it could be good for people with mobility issues because it makes it easier to hold the toy in hand. I was surprised that it wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. When it's on the lowest vibration setting, you can't hear it in the other room without doors closed at all.
The Spot is not an affordable G-spot massager. While it's not the most expensive toy on the market, it's definitely an investment. It's been the easiest-to-understand manual I've ever received with a sex toy.
So, the Maude Spot is made from 100% medical-grade premium silicone, which is supposed to be the best quality silicone available on the market. For this price point, I expect nothing less. The silicone feels nice and premium; however, the toy itself is super light, which makes it feel not as sturdy as I'd like. Another thing that makes the toy feel less premium is the fact that it's not waterproof, only water resistant. However, I absolutely love the canvas toy that comes as part of the packaging to store your Spot. It's super high quality, looks great, and is very neutral - nobody will guess that it's hiding your favorite sex toy.

Ah, my experience with the Spot has been a real rollercoaster. If you've read my other reviews, you know that I'm a sucker for premium sex toys and aesthetic branding, so of course, I had huge hopes for this G-spot stimulator. While the packaging was beautiful, once I unwrapped the toy I was taken aback by how... cheap it felt. I was greatly disappointed. That is until I tried this bad boy in bed and it made me see stars. As I said, it was a rollercoaster journey.
