OhMiBod Club Vibe 3.0H — Test & Review

The Club Vibe 3.0H includes the vibrator, the remote control, and a "one size fits all" thong. The vibrator is made out of smooth body-safe silicone that has a nice soft feel. The thong is made out of cotton and spandex; it feels cheap and could probably only fit sizes small through large. While the materials used on the vibrator and remote feel of high quality, the device's strength is extremely lacking.

In order to use the device, you have to press and hold the power button on the vibrator as well as the remote control. You have to hold each button for about 3 seconds before the devices turn on. Both buttons are extremely easy and comfortable to press. The vibrator portion is supposed to slip inside the gusset (the little fabric pocket) of the underwear they send you or your own. The vibrator has a slight curve to fit your body and a round hump at the top that is designed to press against the clitoris. The hands-free vibe is comfortable, the remote is easy to hold, and the buttons on the remote that little effort to press.

The quality of the materials feels really nice. I don’t think you could break it by dropping it and it doesn’t overheat after long use. The thong that came with the product does not feel super high quality and the lace had some frays in it upon arrival. The vibrator is fairly quiet but not enough that you would want to use it in a low-volume public environment. The sound activation on the remote does not always work correctly and the motor strength is low causing the vibrations to be very weak.

In order for this product to have been worth the price, the motor strength would need to be exponentially higher. With a price range of over $100, I would have expected multiple vibration strengths, more than the 5 preset vibration patters, and just generally better motor strength. The product did come with a pair of thong panties and a satin bag to carry everything in but the panties were also lacking in quality and the satin bag is not adding much to the experience.

This did not live up to the hype that the product description presented me with. If you haven’t already figured it out from my review, the vibration strength is practically nonexistent, I mean my electric toothbrush is stronger than this vibrator. It is pretty quiet, though, so in a club setting (which the product is heavily centered around) it would certainly be discreet. It lasted about an hour and 30 minutes and took a full 2 hours to charge back up after it went fully dead. Neither the remote nor the vibe felt like they got overheated at any point.

The OhMiBod Club Vibe 3.0H came in a really nice box. It featured a picture of a person dancing on the top and photos of the remote and vibrator on both sides, so it isn’t very discreet, but it easily gets the point across. The back of the packaging gives a little description of the three modes you can use and lists a few other details about the product. The box itself and the plastic portions inside all feel really sturdy and no doubt kept the product

The product is made out of nice body-safe, phthalate-free silicone, and ABS plastic. It is really lightweight and feels soft on the body. It is splash-proof so it can be carefully cleaned with water and mild soap or toy cleaner, but it should not be submerged in water. I used toy cleaner and a cloth to make sure no soap or water got into the charging port. A little satin pouch was included with the product for easy storage after use.
