The Playboy Pleasure Amethyst Glass Bullet Vibrator is a perfect small hand-held run-of-the-mill vibrator for beginners. The vibrator is 4.9 inches long and ideal if you fancy a lighter penetration, the tip is completely see-through glass. The bullet itself has 3 different vibration speeds and 7 different patterns, with its one-button operating system I found it a little tricky to swap back and forth with the vibrations if you have lube hands or if the toy is inside you. The Vibrator is completely waterproof as it uses magnetic charging which makes this a perfect toy for bath time; On the topic of charging, this is a quick charger, the bullet takes 120 minutes to charge fully but it's run time is 90 minutes.
First Use
When I first opened up my bullet I was ecstatic! I struggle with girthy toys, so seeing as the girth was only 2.5 inches I was all over this toy. Personally, having this toy INSIDE me makes me fairly nervous because there is no real presence of a flared base, sometimes, just because you can doesn’t mean you should. With that being said, during my first experiment I found that the toy became slick and was hard to grip, seeing as the whole thing is made of glass there was nowhere to grab ahold of when I wanted to swap speeds, but this wasn’t a deal breaker.What Worked and What Didn’t
With the Playboy Pleasure Amethyst Glass Bullet Vibrator, I tried all the patterns and vibrations and my only wish was that it had one stronger vibration mode. Still, overall if you like patterns with a toy rather than a wide set of straight vibrations this is the toy for you. Thankfully, the pinpoint head makes it easy to get in a rhythm for yourself. Lastly, I know I previously mentioned that the toy makes me nervous to use as a dildo, but due to the lack of strength in the vibrations I enjoyed using this vibrator more of a dildo and using a wand to finish strong.Last But Not Least
I started to like this toy when I found out that it was insertable, using this as a vibrating dildo with another vibrator was magic, seriously not even a rabbit could compete. Because the base is slightly flared it gave me comfort the first time, if you were to use this as a dildo I would recommend keeping on hand on the bullet at all times just to be safe and give yourself a piece of mind.
The bullet overall looks and feels amazing, the rabbit on the side was a nice touch and went well with the stunning purple color. The only thing that stands out design-wise is the all-glass casing and the purple inside, overall this toy feels great and design-wise they hit the mark with the materials and the overall look. The bullet may be small but it is mighty (in a buzzy way) so while I personally would have enjoyed a more rumbly vibration if you like buzzy vibes then this is the toy for you!
The only thing that sticks out about the ease of use is if you have grip and mobility issues and plan to use this in a slippery area, the glass will only add to the slickness, and because the button is on the bottom of the vibe and it was a little hard to grip and press at times so it would have gotton a 100 if it wasnt for that minor flaw. Additionally with the lube hands its pretty diffcult to hold without it sliding everywhere because of the smooth glass.
I am very impressed with the quality of the toy! having the glass on the toy adds an extra smooth layer and makes me feel as if im using an incredibly expensive vibrator instead of my little play boy bunny one. The magnetic charger add and extra level of 'boujie' that I wasn't expecting but I love the wireless charging as well as the quick charging time even though the battery life on the bullet itself can get you through multiple different sessions of fun without needing a recharge.
While the Playboy Pleasure Amethyst Glass Bullet Vibrator isn't exactly cheap, it's not on the more expensive side of vibrators or even bullets alone, for the versatility of this bullet with the all-around glass and the 10 different speeds I think the price is fair for the whole package that you receive when you get this toy. Overall, the Bullet is pretty cheap compared to other similar toys so while you don't get any add-ons (lube, storage bag, etc.) you do get what you pay for.
The Playboy Pleasure Amethyst Glass Bullet Vibrator is one of the most versatile vibrators I have used, it truly caters to ANYTHING you could want as it is small enough to use comfortably in most positions. The best part about the bullet was the quick charge time (90) minutes paired with a long battery life (50-60 minutes) there are no complaints to be had. The toy was relatively quiet, it wasn't silent but it was one of the quietest that I have heard.
The box that the bullet comes in it a small white box that folds over the cover and has a picture of the toy on the front, so while the toy is not discrete, its the same toy that you would find at the nearest lovers store that got placed into a box. Furthermore, the box that arrived came with tissue paper and the actual packaged had a lovers logo on the inside of the box and the packeging felt like it was placed with care.
The exterior of the toy is made of glass and it's 100% waterproof as the charging is magnetic. The bullet is made of body safe silicon thats none toxic and hypoallergenic. Additionally the glass in the toy is borosilicate glass which is known to be highly resitant and it is also non-porous, both of these materials are widely used in sex toys. For washing, I used soap and warm water, the toy was easy to clean besides maybe just slipping around a little. Lastly, there is no storage bag for this toy.

The Playboy Pleasure Amethyst Glass Bullet Vibrator is a great toy for beginners and for my first time using a bullet, I wasn't mad! The glass tip is gorgeous and sturdy with 10 vibrations (7 patterns). The bullet is very buzzy, so much so that it will start to make your hands go a little numb if you don't move them every once in a while. The bullet is magnetically charged, waterproof, and perfect for temperature play.
