My First Couple’s Vibrator
In all the toys I have reviewed with BedBible, I’ve never tried one of the insertable, couple vibrators. Mainly because I don’t have someone with which to share such a toy, and I usually stick to general vibrators and air pulse stimulators. That being said, Sohimi sent me their new Couple’s Vibrator to try out for an honest review. I was surprised at how flexible this toy was, I suppose I was expecting the little arms to be solid or bendable. In addition, it wasn’t nearly as heavy as I imagined it would be. The silicone was far nicer than I expected, though, especially since it’s such an affordable sex toy. So, as I always do, I turned it on and played with it, the remote, the settings and speeds, just to learn how it works before trying it out. The Sohimi Wireless Couples Vibrator ran well, had pretty powerful vibrations in the larger part of the toy (not as much in the arms), and the remote only runs the main motor and legs at the same time – not individually. I was upset about that, at first, until I realized it’s probably that way for when you place the larger part, and not the legs, inside you, making it impossible to reach the buttons to manually operate it. So you have to use BOTH stimulating parts, rather than one at a time, with the remote.Was It Incredible? Yes and No.
Alright, since I have never tried one of these c-shaped, egg-type couples’ vibrators, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. The egg part, which you can put inside the vagina or outside – is extremely powerful. The little legs or arms (whatever you want to call them) well, they are kind-of weak. So much so, that I couldn’t feel them inside at all. Therefore, I was disappointed, especially considering that have their own motors. I could feel them outside my body, but it was a very buzzy vibration. Now, some people prefer buzzy, so YOU may be able to feel the vibrations internally – and so should your partner if you have PIV sex while wearing the Sohimi Couples Vibrator. And yes, these little arms DO feel incredible pressed on either side of the labia to stimulate the clitoral complex. Therefore, because of the sheer, amazing versatility of this little toy and the fact that I WAS able to reach the big-o, I had a blast experimenting with it.Do I Recommend The Sohimi Couples Vibrator?
Considering the price and versatility of this toy, yes I absolutely recommend this toy. However, if you’ve used one of these types of vibrators before, especially a more well-known brand, this one may fall flat. But if you’ve wanted to try one to see if it works for you, before buying a name brand, more expensive one, the Sohimi Couples Vibrator should be on the top of your must-try list. I mean, you will find all sorts of fun ways to use this toy – as I did – with or without a partner! Well worth the bargain price!
The Sohimi Wireless Couples Vibrator is well-designed and pretty darn comfortable compared to some c-shaped vibrators. I love that there are 3 separate motors, making this couples vibrator a lot more versatile than most. The silicone is silky soft and smooth, and the entire bottom half of the toy is nice and flexible - so it feels more expensive than it is. Again, that design feature makes the Sohimi Couples Vibrator much more versatile to play with vaginas, vulvas, penises, bottoms, testicles and the perineum too! Finally, most c-shaped vibrators don't fit my body. But this one, because of the flexibility, fit me perfectly!
This one could be seen as being difficult to operate. BUT, it really isn't. It simply has several ways it can be used. Therefore, it does have a learning curve, so I highly recommend some pregaming, as well as checking out the seller's site for the many ways the Sohimi Couples Vibrator can be used. The vibrator does stay in place, depending on which way you use it. For instance, if the egg part is inside, it stays in great. However, if you put it in the other way, you definitely have to hold onto it to keep it from slipping out. It is comfortable to use if you have hand mobility or grip issues, as you can use the buttons on the toy, the remote or the app.
The Sohimi Wireless Couples Vibrator looks and feels like a high-quality sex toy. It's made from silicone, so it's very soft and luxurious feeling. Everything runs as it should, manually, by remote and via the JoyHub app. It's very quiet, even though it has 3 motors, so that was a surprise! Overall, for the price, the quality is pretty incredible.
Considering the Sohimi Couples Vibrator is under $35, it is well worth the price! It comes with a pin-type USB charging cord, which makes this toy capable of being put inside the body as well as submersed in water. Additionally, you get a small remote control that operates the main motor and the little arms - only not individually. Finally, you have access to the JoyHub app, for free. Again, no fancy extras, just a straight-forward couples toy that works well and is extremely versatile for an amazing price.
Performance-wise, the Sohimi Wireless Couples Vibrator far exceeded my expectations! Even though I don't enjoy buzzy vibrations, many people do, so it's pretty powerful in that sense. It charged quickly, held the charge well and the toy didn't get warm at all. It was far more comfortable than most c-shaped vibrators. However, using the arms internally, with the egg outside, made it a bit difficult to hold in place. Keep in mind, you can use this couples vibrator the opposite way too, which does stay put more easily. The Sohimi Couples Vibrator was also much more quiet than I had anticipated. Overall, it's a fantastic toy for the price and one I would recommend you trying.
The packaging of the Sohimi Couples Vibrator is cheap, lightweight and has a photo of the product on the box with a run-down of the product's features and uses on the back. No adult content or anything vulgar on the outside. Inside the box is a plastic cradle that holds the toy, charging cord and remote in place, so it doesn't shake around. Unfortunately, there wasn't a storage bag included, so you may want to keep the box or purchase a bag on your own to keep all of the parts together.
The Couples Vibrator by Sohimi is made from soft, silicone, therefore is body safe and non-porous. So, to keep the toy looking and feeling nice, I recommend only using a water-based lubricant. Additionally, to clean this toy, you can wash it with a mild soap and warm water - rinsing well - or any commercial sex toy cleaner. It was super easy to clean and dry! As far as storage goes, I just placed it back in the box so I could keep the toy, the remote, instructions, and charging cable in one place.
