My Initial Experience

I have previous experience with a variety of masturbators, but this was my first experience with an enclosed, fully handheld masturbator. When you first see the Tenga Egg Standard Pack, you might be confused and wonder where you are exactly? How did you end up in the middle of your local grocery store? How did these end up here? Is it Easter already? Upon closer inspection, you see (and read) that these are brilliantly packaged masturbators. Each with their own internal design to help you find that perfect masturbatory experience. After opening the carton and unwrapping an egg you see the included plastic shell that serves to help the egg keep its shape and hold the included water-based lube and instructions.  Everything you need to get going and enjoy yourself.

The Results

I really enjoyed my time with this Tenga Egg pack. They are simple to use but provide enough sensation and interaction, either solo or with a partner, to add some variety to our play. The flexibility and texture of the eggs add some nice variety masturbating. The ability to feel the different textures based on your grip make it more interesting as well. Tenga advertises this as a single use item, which for the money, is definitely possible. I found that after a single use each egg had become a little stretched and deformed but was still able to serve its function without any issues. Using the eggs also made clean up super easy seeing as they were enclosed on the end, they contained any of the fluids released inside. A thorough cleaning with warm soapy water and a toy cleaner seemed to get these ready for the next use without any issues but again, that is against the manufacturers suggested use.

The TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) used in all the eggs is incredibly soft and easily conforms to your hand while using. Each egg has a different pattern on the inside. They all feel slightly different but the eggs with larger, protruding nubs and patterns definitely felt the best to me.

There isn't really anything complicated about using this Tenga Egg pack. You open the eggs, add some lube and place on your penis. That's it. If you happen to have hand or grip issues, I could see this not being ideal for you, since they don't do much without some manual movement.

Tenga obviously took care in the design and packaging, and the eggs themselves are no different. Due to the stretchy nature of the TPE, they do tend to deform a bit upon using. As seen in the picture, the perfect egg shape is gone after the first use. Since they are made for single use, the longevity will obviously be an issue but at this price point, that shouldn't be a problem. Any sounds made are no louder than the rapid sloshing of lube and release of air within the eggs while using them.

At a retail price of $36, these are a real bargain. You get the 6-pack all loaded inside the cute egg carton and the portability of each egg is incredible. Plus, each egg includes a small pack of water-based lube. Everything you would need for use in a tiny, inexpensive package.

The Tenga Egg New Standard Pack definitely worked well. The flexibility of the material and the varying patterns inside made for a very pleasant masturbatory experience. They are deceptively stretchy. Looking at them you wouldn't think they would be able to stretch the entire length of your penis, but I had no issues with my average-sized member. If you so deem, once you're done you can just toss these in the trash for a no fuss, no muss experience.

I love these little things. The creativity in the design and packaging is wonderful. Each egg comes wrapped with the same design pattern on the outside as on the inside. The simple, discreet individual eggs make packing and travel a breeze. Each masturbator comes inside a plastic egg with a plastic sleeve. The sleeve contains the pack of lube and a very basic instruction set. Think IKEA for sex toys.

The soft, flexible TPE is easy to clean. Getting them completely dry seems to be an issue due to all the nooks and cranny's on the internal designs. This could definitely explain the one time use product model for these as well. You definitely want to turn them inside out and make sure they are completely dry before you store them in the provided egg containers.

  • Completely portable
  • Inexpensive
  • Cleverly designed
  • Very discreet

  • "One-time" use
  • Can deform a little after first use
  • Not ideal for those with grip issues
  • Needs more drying time

I just can't get over the whole package! The container designed like an egg carton with plastic eggs inside. The portability and discreetness of those eggs. The simplicity and variety of the different patterns and shapes. The low cost and easy clean-up. It just all works. That being said, these are not for everyone. They are definitely weird at first — the incredibly stretchy nature of the eggs takes some getting used to and the idea of them being one-time-use definitely doesn't sit well with me. Overall, if I wanted some more variation in my pleasure routine, I wouldn't hesitate to grab a couple cartons of these anywhere I see them.

They can be. The cost per egg in the 6 pack is minimal and they are recommended as a single-use item. That being said, I found that they can be cleaned and reused as long as they remain free of any obvious defect and hygiene issues.

A water-based lubricant is always recommended for TPE-based sex toys. The included lubricant packet is a great choice.

Definitely not. It's a little confusing on the first use just because it doesn't look like it would stretch that much but once you get going and find out its limits, you will be in heaven.

Very much so. The discreet egg shaped packaging just looks like a lost Easter egg more than an adult toy. So, packing them in a suitcase or travel bag is no issue at all.
