TENGA SVR+ Cock Ring Review

Why it took any sex toy company so long to make a well designed vibrating cock ring is beyond me but thank the sex toy Gods Tenga got there! The long, thin vibrator sits so much better between the labia and against the clitoris than the traditional ones that sat horizontally at the top of the ring. The cock ring is also very stretchy and relatively thin and the vibrator isn't super chunky, so it feels very unobtrusive and doesn't get in the way at during sex. It also works well as a clit vibrator. As it's small and has a hard plastic case, I can also see the SVR+ being a great travel toy! My only gripe is with the name — SVR stands for Smart Vibe Ring, which gives the impression that it has some kind of 'smart' interactive capabilities.

With one large button, the Tenga SVR+ couldn't be easier to use. The only downside to that design is having to cycle through the settings to find the one you want. However as there are only 5 intensities and 3 patterns it's not a huge problem. The cock ring is very stretchy, making it easy to put on and it stays in place very well.

The SVR+ feels like a top quality toy. The vibrator feels sturdy and doesn't rattle and the cock ring is stretchy but strong. It doesn't heat up during use. At 40 minutes, the battery life could be longer, but it definitely lasts a few uses. The vibrations are quite quiet on the lower settings and a little loud on the higher settings but not enough to be distracting. The max volume I recorded when holding the SVR+ next to my phone was 40 decibels on the highest setting.

The Tenga SVR+ is at the higher end of the price range for a vibrating cock ring. It's similarly priced to other app-controlled cock rings, and although the SVR doesn't have app controls, I think that having a design that actually works and decent vibrations is worth the money. It also comes with a stylish black case to store the cock ring and small USB charging connecter.

The Tenga SVR+ actually exceeded my expectations and has made me enjoy cock rings for the first time ever! I was pleasantly surprised by the power of the vibrations, which are more than enough for a good time! I also really appreciate that they aren't buzzy or numbing so I can enjoy them for longer. In some positions, there wasn't enough pressure between the vibrating motor and my body but that's impossible to avoid and I won't mark it down for that.

I thought the packaging was very tasteful. It reminded me of some kind of tech accessory. The outer sleeve has a simple image of the toy and the Tenga Logo and the inner box contains the storage box with the cock ring and charging connector inside and a small guide booklet.

The Tenga SVR+ is made of silicone, and it's waterproof up to 20 inches so it's nice and easy to clean with some warm water and fragrance free soap. The hard plastic case is also a big plus! It keeps the ring safe and clean between uses and makes it easy to find in a sea of black satin sex toy storage bags!
