It has an insertable length of 5 inches, and a diameter of 1.5 inches, so it's a perfect all-rounder for beginners (with a bit of warm-up) and experienced players alike.
I absolutely loved being able to grab something I didn’t have to hold for once! The Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy TX has a strong suction cup that frees up so many other options whilst performing so well. When I first turned it on, it didn’t look like it was going that fast. My goodness! I was wrong, 125 strokes per minute consistently is one heck of a tool. This was my first thrusting dildo and I will be grabbing for this one again and again. It’s like suction cupping the Energizer Bunny to my headboard and seeing who will give up first. Despite being called the ‘Mini’, this toy looks huge as is — I can’t believe this is the smaller version. For me, it certainly does the job!
The Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy is life-life and lives up to its name. It is surprisingly velvet soft, though mini it is not. One gentle tug and it extends even further than how it is packaged! It's sturdy enough to remain upright and soft enough to feel amazing against the skin.
The Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy plugs in and turns on easily. The up and down buttons are easy to find and out of the way. It was unclear if, after extending the Thruster for the first time, I could push it down again for easy storage in the original box. This is a perfect toy for someone who would like a hands-free option. Just find a clean, smooth surface to stick it to and your hands are free for other uses!
The Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy is made well and feels great. I did have a few false starts when trying to find a surface to attach it to; it fell off a few times. Once I found an appropriate surface, I had no issues. It is textured to look life-like, feels so soft and slightly rippled, and comes in so many cute colors. It does come with a rather monstrous charger, but it started to work almost immediately after being plugged in.
The price of the Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy is comparable to similar toys on market. Its inability to be submerged in water does make me hesitant to bring it in the shower and wonder how long/aggressively I can wash it before causing damage. For something that is approved for both vaginal and anal use, allows for hands-free play, and charges so quickly, I think the price is fair.
The Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy is easy to turn on and has six speeds to alternate through with 5 inches of insertable length. The Thruster is a great addition to hands-free play, multiple-hole, or multiple-partner play. I did find it to be much louder than a lot of toys on the market, so keep this in mind if you live in close proximity to others.
The Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy came discreetly and well-packaged. Everything in the box was wrapped for extra protection and ready to go right out of the box. I would have enjoyed seeing it come with a dust bag or a more re-useable box. This is a critique I have of many sex toys, however.
The Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy is coated in silicone, which makes it body-safe. However, it is not waterproof, and should be kept away from water when cleaning. I recommend using a damp cloth and some soap, or a toy cleaning wipe to wipe it off thoroughly, avoiding the charging port as best you can, before drying off completely. Since the Velvet Thruster doesn't come with a storage bag, you could either buy one separately or store it in a pillow case or similar.

The best part of The Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy, of course, is the suction cup. If this thing was heavenly enough to use, it frees up your hands so you can invite in all your other favorite toys and friends along for the fun. What a great not-so-little-toy!

The Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy is a toy I will be coming back to over and over again, though I will be keeping an eye out for a quieter option in the future. The Thruster comes in a variety of cute pastels, I may have to pick one up in a different color. This toy is great for when I want multiple options or need a hands-free option due to chronic pain. I'm so happy to have this one available to me.
