We-Vibe Ditto+ — Test & Review

The We Vibe Ditto+ is all sexy curves and seductive flexibility at the base, and is made of body-safe silicone. As every good anal-intended toy does, it has a flared base to keep things from going too far. This vibe can come in either black, pink, purple or blue.

The Ditto+ comes with a small controller with a simple design to cycle through the patterns and turn the vibration strength up or down. The toy itself has only the power button. Press once to turn on, press to check out each of the options, and hold down for three seconds to turn the toy off. There are seven patterns and three different vibration strengths to play with. Feeling hands free? You can slip into the free app on your phone and have fun with different combinations. The app is also incredibly easy to navigate.

This toy feels and looks expensive. The flexibility at the base is impressive, so you can move around however you’d like while using it. I’m not concerned about breaking the Ditto+, which is saying something, considering the amount of toys I have broken, accidentally. And did I mention the USB charger is magnetic? Meaning, there’s no charging port to worry about keeping dry.

Most silicone vibrating butt plugs start around $25 and go up to about $150. The We Vibe Ditto+ weighs in on the expensive end of this spectrum, at $129. Considering you get free app controls, a storage bag, a super sturdy box, a magnetic charger, and extras like lube, etc., this adds up for me. The Ditto+ is also more flexible than many of the vibrating butt plugs on the market. However, it is pretty expensive if you’re on a budget.

The Ditto+ blows me away by how quiet it is. Seriously, the first time I turned it on I thought perhaps the battery was about to die and it was losing strength. But nope, I charged it up and it remained just as whisper quiet as it buzzed away. The battery life is pretty good. It lasted almost two hours on multiple occasions. And, it only took a little more than an hour to recharge.

This is the second We-Vibe sex toy I’ve tried, and I have to say, they know how to make a good box. It’s sturdy, easy to open, and I really like how there’s a separate spot for the charging cord, so it doesn’t get tangled. Inside the box you’ll also find a manual with pictures, labels, and easy to understand instructions and important care information. We-Vibe also provides a nicely made storage pouch. Though, I do have to say it’s a tight fit, getting the butt plug in there. I am not, however, one to complain about a tight fit.

The Ditto+ is made of non-porous, body-safe silicone and is super easy to clean, being that it’s waterproof. Simply spray it down with your favorite sex toy cleaner or sex toy safe soap, and give it a good clean. Once it’s completely dry, slip it into the storage pouch, and you’re good to go.
