We-Vibe Rave – Test & Review

I love the concept of a g-spot vibrator designed to follow the natural curvatures of the vaginal canal to hit all the right spots! But I have to say that in this case, although it's a really great idea, it does not perform well in reality. The design looks and feels really cool initially but any attempt to maneuvre it around during penetration will... well, send it a-spinning! And even if you're got the iron grip to keep the handle from spinning away, chances are you'll cramp up pretty quickly from holding on to that tapered handle. All in all, great design in theory, but didn't work for me in practice - but it is a good size and really nice to look at!

Using the We-Vibe Rave does come with a learning curve. Mostly because of the not-so-practical design. Other than that, it can take a few tries to understand how the buttons operate. The buttons themselves are actually quite firm and difficult to press down on (especialy with lubed-up fingers!). Luckily, the We-Vibe Rave is also app-compatible! So if the buttons are too much of bother, you can simply lean back and use the app to control the settings of your g-spot vibrator. The app is actually quite user-friendly and easy to use.

Although, I've been critical of my own experiences with the We-Vibe Rave, I have to emphasize that this is not a bad quality product! The silicone coating is super soft and smooth to the touch, it has a comfortable weight to it and the vibrations are super powerful. I love the fact that it is app-compatible and the long-distance feature is really cool for long-distance couples to stay intimate. A great quality product but for me the not-so-great performance just lowered the overall score a bit.

The We-Vibe Rave is quite expensive for a g-spot vibrator. You can defintiely get other powerful g-spot vibrators at a lower price. But remember that the price also includes the extra features that I think really elevates the overall score. The app-enabled features provide you with so many more stimulation options, vibration setting combinations, and the ability to let your partner control your pleasure form afar. The sheer power of these vibrations are also quite fitting for this price point.

The We-Vibe Rave will impress you with some powerful and rumbly internal vibrations during insertion. The different vibration modes are fun to work your way through. Although, as rumbly as the vibrations are internally, they feel very buzzy externally. When holding the handle of the We-Vibe Rave, the buzzy sensation can easily make your hand feel numb. This g-spot vibrator can also be used externally for some intense clit stimulation when it's not inserted, but, again, the external vibrations feel a bit buzzy. The app-enabled features also performs well with good app connectivity.

In its box, the We-Vibe Rave is neatly displayed on some foam that hides the rest of the items that comes with this product. There's also the instructions manual, the charging cord, a white satin draw-string pouch, and a small sachet of some We-Vibe water-based lube. I always appreciate when storage options are included in the packaging and you won't hear me complaining about extra treats like lube or stickers!

The We-Vibe Rave is fully coated in super smooth silicone. It is water resistant and super easy to clean and maintain. Rinsing off any residue after use is no problem since there are absolutely no textures where any gunk needs to be scrubbed out. Wash with a mild unscented soap or any sex toy cleaner, rinse with warm water (without fully submerging it) and dry completely. Put the We-Vibe Rave in the storage bag and tuck it away for safe-keeping until next time!
