Womanizer Liberty 2 Iggy Azalea Edition Review

The sleek silhouette and magnetic cover scratched an aesthetic itch. However, I'm sorry to say that the metallic, pink plastic looked cheap. The finish attracted oil and displayed fingerprints like a dusted crime scene. Presentation was further diminished when the illusion of texture was met with smooth tactility. Meanwhile, the internal surface felt unpleasantly rubbery. On a positive note, the pale buttons and stimulation head contrasted the intensely pink body quite nicely; and I loved the backlit stimulation head!

While operation wasn't entirely intuitive, the large buttons simplified sightless play. The + button powered on the toy when held and increased intensity when pressed. The - button decreased intensity when pressed and powered the toy off when held. Simultaneously holding both activated travel-lock. That said, the sleek surface became slippery when wet. This, combined with the contoured shape, may complicate use for those with limited grip. For such users, the silicone finish of the original Womanizer Liberty 2 may be preferrable.

Aside from the battery (which I'll discuss in the "Performance" section), this product seemed to meet quality standards. It could get pretty loud, but not any louder than my other air stimulation toys. When measured from 14-inches away, the volume ranged from 50 dBA-70 dBA. In other words, it could purr like a moderate rainfall or roar like the average washing machine. While the plastic shell looked cheap, it felt durable enough. Lastly, the magnet was weak but still protected the stimulation head from debris.

The Womanizer Liberty 2: Iggy Azalea Special Edition retailed for $99. This matched the price of the original Womanizer Liberty and Liberty 2. Since clitoral stimulators range from $39-$199, it ranked in the medium price range. It came with a magnetic charging cable, User Guide, and Product Manual. Most importantly, it was covered by a 5-year warranty. It may be worth the purchase for those who want an on-the-go clitoral toy and LOVE Iggy Azalea.

For the most part, this product achieved the standards set. The motor produced thumpy stimulation, and the buttons worked without fault. While the thumps felt overstimulating for my anatomy, others may love it. The flexible stimulation head, also, felt comfortable against the vulva. There was one setback. After 3 trials, the battery failed to meet the advertised specifications: it took 95 minutes to charge (rather than 60) and performed for 80-100 minutes (rather than 120). In its favor, the battery felt cool to the touch after each test.

The packaging was just as pink and unapologetically XXXTRA as the product. The Womanizer Liberty 2: Iggy Azalea Special Edition was cradled in a plastic mold. The accessories were neatly nestled in their own box and planted beside the pleasure device. All of this was tucked inside of a slipcase and wrapped in a dustjacket. Two tamper evident stickers bridged the layers, ensuring security. Overall, it was compact, secure, and eco-friendly.

This product was made of body-safe plastic and silicone. It should only be used with water-based lubricant. The IPX7 waterproof rating meant that it could be fully submerged in 1 meter of water, for up to 30 minutes, without damage. This made cleaning a breeze. I removed the stimulation head and thoroughly cleansed both components with toy cleaner and water. It was dried thoroughly before storing. It had no storage bag, so I took care to not lose the charger. The manual advised the following: avoid contact with alcohol, massage oils, and silicone-based products.
