b-Vibe Triplet Anal Beads — Test & Review

The Triplet is b-Vibes take on classic anal beads. The triplet has 3 beads that gradually increase in size from 0.8 inches to 1.2 inches. The toy seems designed for beginner and intermediate anal play enthusiasts. A plug with 3 beads is a relatively common toy design but b-Vibe improved on the design by focusing on the details. The Triplet has a comfortable T-shaped base, the beads are well sized for easy insertion but provide plenty of stimulation, and the shaft is flexible enough bend with my body.

I'm embarrassed to say that I couldn't get the triplet to turn on without reading the manual despite having similar toys. The toy is turned on by tapping the power button on the beads, then pressing the power button on the remote which connects the remote to the toy then pressing on the vibration controls to turn on the vibrations. Other toys I have tried start vibrating when the power button on the remote is pressed. Once I figured out how to control the triplet, it was pretty easy to use. The base is a little hard to grip while thrusting it in and out, but in comfortable when it is just sitting in place.

Like other b-Vibe toys I have tried, the Triplet is good quality with of lots of thought put into the design. So far it has been very reliable. The silicone has a nice feel and is comfortably firm. It is pleasurable to use and easy to clean. The remote makes controlling the vibrations easy. The vibrations are strong and rumbly for a you of its size. It has good battery life and has not run out during use.

The b-Vibe Triplet is on the expensive side, especially for a toy marketed to beginners. It is great quality and comes with a storage bag, charger and manual. I would definitely buy it on sale, but I might consider other toys first at full price.

The b-Vibe Triplet preformed better then I anticipated, the vibrations were both stronger and more rumbly than I expected. The toy is almost silent at the lower settings and at Max intensity it is a bit louder then a phone on vibrate. I have not run the battery all the way down yet, but it has lasted for over and hour of use with a full charge.

The packaging for the triplet is eye-catching and fun. The packaging has a straightforward color scheme of light pink with white highlights and bright magenta text. The design is simple displaying a picture of the toy, b-Vibe's logo, and a badge showing that b-Vibe's was chosen as "most progressive company of the year" by XBiz. I like bright sparse design and I think b-Vibe nailed it on the packaging.

The Triplet is coated in semi-firm silicone. The has a matte surface that feels velvety to the touch and gets very slick with some lube. The toy is splashproof so it can be used in the shower or washed but it should not be fully submerged. After use I clean the Triplet with soap and warm water then allow it to air dry. I store the toy in the included storage bag between uses. Unfortunately the silicone does retain a smell even after thorough cleaning, which I have also noticed with other b-Vibe toys.
