The Lucky Love Dice from Bijoux Indiscrets are a set of three high-quality, weighty sex dice. In the package, you'll find 45 different stickers that you can place on the faces, that include 27 different body parts, sensual actions and locations. The body parts and actions are written in 6 different languages, and the locations are all pictures. You also have the option to leave a '?' face for a spontaneous surprise! This set also comes with a mesh bag to store everything inside.
Getting the Lucky Love Dice from Bijoux was a bit of a gamble for me! My partner and I enjoy our fair share of fun and silliness in the bedroom, but I was a little worried that using something as cliché as sex dice would be a step too far. However, as soon as I took these out of the box, it was clear that these were not your average, cheap-o dice.
Can I Use These as Decoration?
Honestly, you would be forgiven for mistaking the Lucky Love Dice for whiskey rocks. They’re chunky and weighty, making them oh-so satisfying to hold and jiggle around in your hands. The dark color is also a nice change from all the bright, gaudy colors that these things usually come in. The only thing printed on the dice when you get them is a ‘?’ on one of the faces — the rest of the faces are blank, for you to fill in with your choice of stickers.A Whole Array of Options
In the box, you’ll find five sheets of stickers in black with gold lettering, which you can add to the different faces of the three dice. The first is for actions, and includes things like ‘kiss’, ‘bite’ ‘caress’ and ‘tickle’ — there are 9 different ones to choose from. The second is for body parts, including ‘mouth’, ‘bottom’ and ‘back of the neck’ — again, there are 9 to choose from. Finally, the last dice is for the location where you should perform the action. There are 9 illustrations, including a rug by the fireside, a sofa, a bed, and even an outdoor bench! So wait, that makes 27 options, right? That’s correct — since Bijoux Indiscrets is a European country, they’ve included both the body parts and actions in 6 different languages, three per sticker. That means there are duplicates of both of these sheets.A Fun Way to Spice Things Up
While you can throw all three dice at once and follow their instructions, my partner and I quickly found that thing got a bit slow when we had to move around the house for each roll. So, instead, we chose to roll just one or two dice at a time, just to give us a little bit of direction before our instincts took over. It felt a bit silly, but in an enjoyable way, as if we were just playing a fun game together. I tried to pick sticker options that would all work well together, which is a great advantage of the Lucky Love Dice over other sex dice, which can sometimes throw you some curveballs! The one issue I did have was that the location options are a bit limited, especially as we don’t currently own a car, or a bathtub, or a sturdy table.
The Lucky Love Dice are very pretty in an understated way. I like that they're chunky and weighty, and the gold lettering on the black background feels both elegant and sexy. I understand why they included all the stickers in different languages, but I would have appreciated if there were some more location options to pick from.
While these sexy dice are not quite as 'pick-up-and-play' as other dice sets, they're still very easy to use. Simply choose which 5-6 body part stickers you'd like to use (depending on whether you want to keep the mystery '?' option or not), stick them on the faces, and repeat with the other two dice. Then, roll away!
I was honestly surprised at how high-quality the Lucky Love Dice felt. After all, they're just dice! But they feel weighty in a wonderful way, almost like they're made of polished stones or something. The stickers are also all well-printed with metallic lettering and pretty illustrations.
While they are just reaching the higher end of what you might want to pay for sexy dice, I do think that this product is well-priced for what you get. Other, similarly-priced sex dice sets do often have more dice you can roll, but the nice thing about the Lucky Love Dice is that you can just change out the stickers when you want to switch things up! If you want to avoid cheap, tacky dice, I think these are well worth the money.
The weight of these dice feels really good in the hands, but since they're a little big, they may not roll quite as well as smaller dice. However, when I rolled them on a softer surface, like the bed or a rug, I had no issues.
This dice set comes in a small cardboard box, with all the materials inside. The front is quite simply designed, and on the back is just a photo of the blank dice. It's pretty enough, but since the set comes with a mesh storage bag, I didn't feel the need to keep it.
Bijoux Indiscrets don't actually specify what the dice or the stickers are made from, but as I've mentioned previously, they do feel weighty and high-quality. Since these are just an accessory to your bedroom escapades, it's unlikely that you'll have to clean them thoroughly. However, if they do get a little dirty, they can be easily wiped off with a clean, damp cloth. I don't recommend using too much water, as the stickers may start to disintegrate.
