JO NaturaLove Strawberry Organic Lube – Test & Review

Looking at this lube, it is very eye-catching and has a fun design of the strawberries! System JO have always been good at matching their designs to what's inside the bottle, for example like the JO Cool Mint lube, it is green with mint leaves on the bottle. I like a bottle that is fun and easy to see what type it is. Some could argue that this lube looks more aimed towards women, due to its pink colouring, instead of red strawberry colouring. The cartoon picture strawberries almost look quite tacky and cheap, and for me the packaging doesn't look very luxurious. It's not the nicest bottle on my shelf...

This lube is reasonably easy to wash off the skin, but it took 2 attempts to make it feel fully off my skin. It did feel slightly slimly on the skin after, like ti wasn't 100% washed off, which is something I hate! I also really didn't like the fact that this lube stained my sheets yellow! The chamomile preservative provides its amber colouring which is annoying when it dries on white bed sheets - I washed them pretty quickly just incase they stained! after washing in the washing machine, no colour stains were left on the sheet and they returned back to being fully white. This lube is a water based lube that is fully compatible with all sex toy materials and condoms, which is a great upside!

The System JO strawberry is FDA approved like all other JO lubes, which I love, especially for flavoured lube that is most likely going to be consumed. I feel a lot more at ease and comfortable with a lube with this certificate, as it reassures me that I am not putting harmful substances into my body. the ingredients list of this lube is: Water (Aqua), Tequilana Azul (Agave) Leaf Extract, Camomile Flower Extract, Flavour (Aroma) and Carrageenan. you can definability taste and smell the agave and chamomile. This lube has a slightly acidic pH of 6, which is great for vulva owners as it attempts to match the vulvas naturally acidic pH.

For a flavoured lube, its price tag is reasonably priced. System JO bottles are quite large, meaning that you get quite a lot fo product in each bottle. Therefore, I think you're automatically getting more for your money. With this lube, you also don't have to use a lot as it spreads when you rub it across the skin, so I think the price is reasonable for what the product gives you.

As I have mentioned, the consistency of this lube is very strange - very jelly like! It is very similar to the JO camomile lube - both having the same consistency and texture. I would recommend using this lube with toys, as it definitely lubricates and makes them wet. This lube lasts a long time and I only had to re-apply once. If you're looking for a thick lube, then this isn't the lube for you, because when you rub it onto the skin and spread it, it thins and only makes the skin wet, not creating a coat, like most silicone lubes would.

I am one of JO's biggest fans when it comes to bottle design. The tall bottles really make the lubes last forever, and I don't have to replace the bottle as quickly as I do with some smaller bottled lubes, like the Sliquid lubes, for example. The JO bottles are easy to hold and squeeze, as well as having a click-close lid which helps with aiming the lube onto specific areas of the body, without it going everywhere!

This lube is a slightly yellow, amber colour, and it shows. On my skin tone, it showed up yellow and looked a little lumpy as it is a jelly like liquid... I hated it! I don't really want to see coloured lube on my skin, it looks weird. Not to be too graphic, but when this yellow liquid spilt onto my white bed sheets, it looked a little like something else. I really wasn't a fan. Thank goodness ti washed out in the washing machine after.
