This Long Flogger Fell Short
I was actually a little underwhelmed when I received the Bondage Boutique Advanced Extra Long Suede Flogger. The packaging was just a clear plastic bag and it was lighter than I expected. As it’s advertised as an advanced extra long flogger, I was expecting to have a bit of weight behind it. Lovehoney even write that “Added weight also increases the intensity of each swing.” Plus, the falls measure 13.5 inches, which I wouldn’t classify as extra long. They are actually shorter than the Sportsheets Saffron flogger I own, which as 17 inch falls. I would say this is actually more of a beginner, possibly intermediate, level flogger.Did It Hit the Spot?
While it didn’t quite live up to it’s claims of being an advanced level flogger, I have to say, it was still fun to use and feels pretty good! The soft suede is great for tickling, and even though it’s not quite as thuddy as I was hoping for, it does create a nice impact.
Overall, I think the Bondage Boutique Advanced Extra Long Suede Flogger looks quite nice. I'm not the biggest fan of the studs on the side but they don't bother me too much. If this was advertised as a regular flogger, I would have score it much higher but it just doesn't live up to the description of being extra long.
The Bondage Boutique Advanced Extra Long Suede Flogger gets full marks for ease of use. The rigid handle and wrist loop make it easy to manoeuvre and the lighter weight means you can use a fair amount of force without creating too strong of an impact. I would say even beginners would be fine using this flogger.
Aside from not living up to it's claims of being an advanced level flogger, there are a few small things that detract from the quality. Firstly, the flogger does shed a small amount, leaving little black flecks. Also, after holding the handle for even a short amount of time, I noticed the black dye had transferred to my hand. This could be an issue if you then put your hand down on some nice white sheets!
Personally, I think the Bondage Boutique Advanced Extra Long Suede Flogger is slightly over-priced for what it is, but not massively. Although it didn't quite meet my expectations, I do understand that it's made of suede, which is always going to be more expensive than faux leather.
This is isn't a bad flogger, and the impacts felt good, but I was definitely hoping for a weightier, fuller flogger that could deliver some thuddier impacts. The softness of the suede does feel lovely against my skin though and I enjoy the difference in sensation between thwacks and strokes.
The Bondage Boutique Advanced Extra Long Suede Flogger comes packaged in a clear plastic bag. Although this is very basic, it does the job and keeps the flogger clean and safe during shipping. Just keep in mind that it's very obvious what's inside, so open your box in private if you want to be discreet!
The whole flogger, including the handle, is made with suede, so I recommend trying to keep it as clean and dry as possible because suede is tricky to clean. It's also good to store it somewhere clean, dry, and out of direct sunlight. You should also keep in mind that some of the color can transfer, so I would keep it away from light fabrics.

The Bondage Boutique Advanced Extra Long Suede Flogger didn't quite live up to it's name. It's definitely not extra long and I wouldn't call it an advanced flogger. That being said, it's not a bad product and does feel good in use. The suede is lovely and soft and you can get some good sensations out of it. However, I would say this is a more beginner to intermediate level toy and it's a little expensive for what you are getting.
