Romp Amp Anal Beads were like concord grapes for the rectum. The silky-smooth silicone slipped against the skin and spread lubricant like a dream. The firm balls were sturdy enough for the pressure of insertion, and the maximum 1-inch width looked pretty un-intimidating. The flared base and graduating bead sizes created an inviting aesthetic for users. I absolutely love subtle signatures on toys, like the "ROMP" stamped into the base of these beads. It added an elegant detail to the minimalist design.

Romp Amp Anal Beads require some experience. While inserting these beads would be easy enough for a beginner, climactic removal would be more of a challenge. Each bead may be inserted individually, but even the smallest one could be too intense for novices. Due to the flexible strand, users must put pressure directly at the base of the ball being inserted. This requires some flexibility and hand dexterity. That being said, it lubricated easily and felt comfortable to wear. Additionally, the T-Bar base sat nicely between the cheeks, was easy to grasp, and sturdy enough for firm tugging.

It did, however, pass a lighter test- so these purple beasts are, in fact, 100% silicone! They held up during use, and that's the most important thing.

Factor in the 2-year manufacturer warranty, and these beads exceed their marketed value.

These beads performed as described. The firm balls and flexible stem aided insertion and removal. However, smaller or tapered beads would be better suited for less experienced users. These beads washed fairly easily, but lubricant gathered along the base of the balls and the stems. This required prompt and diligent cleansing. Most importantly, this silicone absorbed anal odor unlike any toy I'd ever used. After a single, 10-minute session and immediate wash, the scent was already lingering. TMI but true.

Romp Amp Anal Beads arrived in a recyclable box, nestled in thermoformed plastic. It was too flimsy and bulky to use for storage, and the toy didn't come with a bag. The graphic of the product accurately depicted the item received and displayed its dimensions. While the purple cardboard washed out the purple product, I don't seek toys for their boxes. The packaging did its job by ensuring my product arrived safely.

As with all silicone toys, Romp Amp Anal Beads should only be used with water-based lubricant. Wash before and after each use, thoroughly massaging the stem and beads. I advise following up with a sex toy sterilization wipe to ease odors. Especially smelly toys can be cleansed with a pet spot cleaner, then washed as normal. Submerging them in alcohol can, also, eliminate odors; but it may dull the surface. Allow the anal beads to dry completely, and store separately from vinyl/rubber.
