Uberlube — Test and Review

Ok so aside from this being a great quality lube, I have to admit some of the appeal comes from the fancy glass bottle that looks more like a high-end perfume than a lube bottle! I love that this sits out on my bedside table — a reminder that pleasure should be luxurious from time to time! It also means it's less likely to get lost in the action, so there won't be any shaking the sheets or looking under the bed to find it! It also makes it easier to get the right amount and not accidentally waste any.

I also loved using the pump bottle! No more accidentally squeezing out too much or getting lube on the bottle! The only thing to watch out for is Uberlube is quite thin, so you have to be careful not to let it slide off. Also, you'll want to makes sure to have some wipes handy to get it off your hand otherwise it could get pretty comical! 

I am really impressed with the quality of Uberlube. It feels amazing to use and there are no harmful or unnecessary ingredients. Uberlube only makes Uberlube and pride themselves on quality and simplicity. The lube only contains four ingredients Dimethicone Dimethiconol, Cyclomethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) and there's nothing that can throw off your natural balance!

Uberlube is slightly more expensive than other silicone lubes on the market, but I really love the quality and the minimal ingredients list. It's also important to keep in mind that silicone lubes in general are more expensive than water-based lubes, but you need way less, so they will laster longer than you might think. While it is a bit of an investment, if you use glass or metal sex toys, especially for anal, and want a long-lasting lube or want a long-lasting lube for partnered sex, I would recommend it.

Given just how thin Uberlube is, I was surprised by how well it worked! It really made anal play with toys so much more comfortable! It doesn't dry out in the same way as water based lube, so I didn't need to stop and reapply and I really liked that the lube hadn't dried out by the time I wanted to remove my toys. As I mentioned earlier, it wasn't thick enough for anal sex with a partner for my liking.

Uberlube comes with a safety seal around the pump and a small cardboard tube over that. I was really happy that there wasn't any unnecessary excess packaging. I also thought it was great that there was no plastic cap over the pump because, let's be honest, that would have been lost within minutes.

Uberlube comes in a glass bottle with a pump lid which makes it easier to keep clean and you can simply wipe down the bottle after use. Unlike many silicone lubes, Uberlube is non-staining and so you don't have to worry about it ruining your sheets or lingerie. I also love that it's made with non-irritating ingredients and even has vitamin E for some extra moisturising qualities. The only thing to remember is that you shouldn't use Uberlube with silicone sex toys, as there is a chance that the silicone in the lube could react with and damage the silicone in the toy.
