“Would this be a case of curiosity killed the pussy” was my first thought as I wriggled The Randy from it’s plastic case. Followed by what can only be described as a nervous laugh. This was going to be a project toy, I knew that much! This is by far the thickest dildo I’ve ever encountered, but I was intrigued by it’s ability to put intense pressure on my g-spot. I really wanted that same intense pressure I could get from the njoy pure wand, but also the feeling of fullness you don’t get with the wand shape.Facing my fears
The first time I used the Randy, I spent a LOT of time warming up and was still only able to insert the tip. I really thought I had bitten off more than I could chew here. It was very intense and trying to go any further was painful. It took a good few times for me to get more comfortable with the size and slowly be able to explore more of the length.Finding my groove
Once I got more confident and learned to relax a bit more, is was able to work up to inserting more. It definitely creates a VERY full feeling and a sizeable stretch and I wasn’t sure if I enjoyed it at first, but adding in some clitoral stimulation was a game changer. The added pressure made everything way more sensitive. Personally, I think I would prefer if the base of the shaft was a little narrower, sort of more like a a plug shape so I could enjoy the fullness without such a stretch. For me, the best bit of the Vixen Randy is the girthy tip, as I can get this to really push up against my g-spot. I also find that the Randy is better for very slow movements rather than hard thrusting. The sensation of fullness it creates is intense but also very pleasurable, and while it won’t be my replacing the Vixen Mustang as my daily-use-dildo, it will definitely get used on those special occasions I crave a more intense feeling of being completely full.
The Vixen Randy is THICK there's no other way to describe it. The focus here really is on the thickness and not the length, which is great if you enjoy the feeling of being stretched or are looking for more intense g-spot pressure. It has a lovely sculpted head that feels incredible up against my g-spot! I also really love the galaxy design as realistic dildos are not my jam! The swirling colors are so beautiful, and I just love that each one is hand-poured so you get your own unique galaxy of pleasure to play with! It's hard to see in the pictures but it also glittery! If the galaxy design is not for you, it also comes in purple, black, and pearl.
Although the base is technically listed as a non-slip base, I've found that it has a pretty strong suction cup base. While showing some friends the new addition to my collection, I stuck the Randy to the fridge and it stayed put very firmly, and while I was tempted to keep it as a new handle, I did have to test it for the purposes of this review! I personally haven't use it with the suction cup as the short length makes it a little awkward. The challenging size aside (you get what you sign up for), the Randy is super easy to use and I love that the wide base is easy to hold on to.
This is my second Vixen dildo, and I am absolutely blown away by their quality! They are easily some the best dildos I have tried. The Galaxy Randy only comes in single density silicone, which I was a little disappointed by because I love Vixen's dual density so much. That being said, the silicone used in the Randy is absolutely fantastic — it is firm but incredibly smooth and silky. Plus, it doesn't seem to collect dust and debris like many other silicone dildos.
Yep, it's an expensive dildo, but if you enjoy girthy toys, you will not be disappointed! There are so thick silicone dildos that aren't also really long and also look cute! So if you have the budget for it, I would definitely recommend the Vixen Randy.
If you are looking for stretching sensation or full feeling the Vixen Randy most certainly performs! It is definitely going to be challenging for most people but if that's what you are looking for, the Randy doesn't disappoint. The sculpted head definitely adds a lot and it has a pretty dramatic curve.
The Vixen Randy comes in Vixen's signature plastic tube packaging. I am not a huge fan of this packaging as you can't really use it to store the dildo because once the lid is off, it's infuriatingly difficult to get back on. I would really love it if Vixen would also include a storage bag for their dildos.
Made from some of the best feeling silicone I've encountered, the Vixen Randy is incredibly easy to clean. You can wash it with warm water and mild soap or sex toy cleaner. Plus, you can even boil it to sterilize it every few uses! Make sure to only use a water-based lube (and plenty of it), as oil and silicone lube can damage the materials over time.

The special feature of the Randy has to be the intense girth. You can see just how thick it is when you compare it to the Mustang! It’a also worth noting that this Randy isn’t VixSkin so it is single density silicone which is relatively firm unlike the VixSkin Mustang, which has a soft outer layer.
