We-Vibe Ditto – Test & Review

The We-Vibe Ditto has a simple, easy-to-handle design. The plug itself has a tapered tip and then gets wider, before narrowing again at the neck. The base is t-shaped, and quite flat, meaning that it sits comfortably in-between the cheeks. I appreciated that it could be worn in either direction.

This is beginner-friendly butt plug, meaning that it's fairly small and easy to insert. However, I felt that the the We-Vibe Connect app left something to be desired. It was somewhat difficult to pair and sync up the Ditto, but, once connected, it was fairly easy to use. Plus, being able to switch the way the plug is facing can be easily done without even taking it out, which I found convenient.

I feel like the company spent all their time and money on making the We-Vibe Ditto plug itself visually appealing and of great quality, but that the remote was a complete afterthought. It's cheaply made and when attempting a battery replacement it's nearly impossible. It seems like the likelihood of breaking it is 99%. You can, of course, still control the plug via the app or the button on the toy itself, but this was a let-down for me.

I believe that the We-Vibe Ditto is a tad overpriced for the duration of time that one can potentially use it for prior to it becoming obsolete. By that, I mean that the plug is so geared toward beginners that you're likely to want to move on to something bigger pretty soon. However, if you're sure you'll want to stick to a small butt plug, and want something of great quality, the price could be worth it. For your money, you'll receive the plug, the remote control, a charging cable, and a sachet of Pjur water-based lube.

For me, the performance of the We-Vibe Ditto was underwhelming. Even at the highest, most intense setting I was unable to really feel it. On the positive end of that spectrum, however, when I had it on the highest, most intense setting, it was extremely quiet.

The packaging looks very high end. I'm the type of person who has all the original packaging for everything, including my toys. It's made of higher quality material, so you'd be able to store it in the box and not have to worry about it getting broken or smashed. This is great because the We-Vibe Ditto does not come with a storage bag.

The We-Vibe Ditto is made from all-over silicone, which is 100% non-porous and body-safe. That means that it is easily washed with toy cleaner and a clean wash cloth, or a mild, unscented soap and water. You can let it air dry, before storing it back in its box, or in a sex toy storage solution like a box or pouch.
