Womanizer Starlet 3 — Test and Review

I'm leaving the design rating right in the middle, as there are things I love about the Starlet 3, and some things, not so much. First and foremost, the Starlet 3 is light weight and shaped to fit beautifully in the palm of your hand. The silicone head feels awesome, and creates a fantastic seal. Plus the fact that you can purchase different sizes of heads, really makes it customizable. On the downside, the hard plastic looks cheap. It just does. So, it's far from a luxurious, high-end toy, yet it comes with a premium price tag. Womanizer, do better! I mean, add some pretty, floral trim or something!

Again, the Starlet 3 by Womanizer gets a middle-of-the-road rating on ease of use. I love that it charges fast, is extremely easy to use and hold. It's also light weight, therefore prevents fatigue in the wrist and hand. However, the buttons are simply hard to press. Sometimes they click and move to the next speed, and sometimes, they don't. And that's frustrating when you're in the thick of things. Finally, as much as I dislike magnetic chargers, this one isn't too terribly bad, and gets the job done.

Oh Womanizer, I wish I could give you a higher rating on this. But it's like putting a $10,000 engine in a $500, rusted-out car - it's got the power and torque, but it just looks bad. The Starlet 3 looks like the Dollar Tree version of a sex toy. It's made from plastic, although it comes in a variety of really, gorgeous colors. Because of the plastic though, it makes the buttons harder to press, and sometimes they just don't click. Otherwise, it works well, is considerably quiet and the head is comfortable, and creates an awesome seal. It's reliable, and comes with a warranty, I simply wish it looked better.

If we are going on performance alone, yes, the Starlet 3 is worth every penny! I mean, the Womanizer's patented air-pulse sensations are unique and epic, when compared with other brands. The packaging is beautiful and a definite upgrade from the Starlet 2, as you can use it for storage. It includes a nice, magnetic USB charger, the usual owner's manual and a full 5-year warranty. And the fact that you can buy additional heads in different sizes, makes it customizable. However, the plastic looks and feels cheap. But if you don't mind the look, yes, it is worth the price.

Performance-wise, the Womanizer Starlet 3 packs a powerful punch with air pulses that feel like an incredible combo of suction and massage. The 6 levels of power allows you to work your way up, into a frenzy, get off, then go low and slow and work your way up to another, earth-shattering climax. It's not very noisy, at all, especially when it's suctioned to your body. It runs smoothly, doesn't overheat, and runs for 30 minutes on a 30-minute charge. Yes, the Starlet 3 is a superstar in a world of acceptable clitoral suckers.

I love, love, love the Starlet 3 packaging! It's so pretty, sturdy and keep-worthy, for sure. The outer box has the safety seals, for your protection. After breaking those, a drawer slides out of the side, revealing the Starlet 3 and the charger. Everything else is tucked neatly underneath the cardboard holders. The box has all of the information you need to know about the toy without graphic, adult photos. Therefore, there are no worries about little eyes seeing something naughty. Overall, I am impressed and thrilled that Womanizer stepped up their packaging game on the Starlet 3!

The Womanizer Starlet 3 is predominantly made from hard plastic, making it lightweight, and incredibly easy to wipe down with soap and water. It's also waterproof, so you can use it in the shower or bath, all the while adding to the ease of cleaning. The silicone head is removable, so you can get underneath, and clean every nook and cranny. And, of course, the head can also be washed with soap and water, a sex toy cleaner or wipe that is silicone-safe. The Starlet 3 doesn't come with a storage bag, however the outer and inner boxes are nicely made and sturdy enough to use for storage, for years to come.
