The Zumio E is a unique toy with a small, hard tip designed for strong, targetted stimultation. Rather than vibrating, the Zumio E works with tight eliptical rotations, the power of which offers noticeably deep sensations. In addition to eight speeds and built-in pressure sensitivity, this powerhouse is also waterproof and impressively petite, offering exciting options for solo and partnered play.
My Experience with the Zumio E
Looking at the Zumio site, as well as Rachel’s review of Zumio X, it’s pretty obvious what Zumio’s most talked about feature is: it doesn’t vibrate, it rotates. Claiming inspiration from the circular motion of fingertips, their SpiroTip™ technology uses elliptical rotations that supposedly differ in effect from vibration. As someone sometimes underwhelmed by the gentle use of fingers and hands, I looked into which Zumio model promised the most intensity and picked Zumio E from their lineup.Surpassing Expectations
As someone with anorgasmia (or an inability to orgasm) as well as a general lack of sensitivity, I am always recommended toys from friends that they find exceedingly powerful, even overwhelming. Things like Le Wand and a couple of air pulse toys were recommended to me for their high intensity, and, while I am a fan of them both, neither did as much as I wanted them to, and I always found myself cranking up the settings before enjoying them. With Zumio E (a decidedly different category of not-vibrator, to be fair), that wasn’t a problem. How It Feels
I’ll be honest, I don’t know how much the rotations of the tip notably differ from traditional vibration. What I will say, though, is that Zumio E’s pinpoint power impressed me straight out of the gate. Usually, it takes a number of tries for me and a new toy to understand each other well enough to get on. Not this time! Despite its size, Zumio E had a deep, rumbly resonance that can be felt all through the clitoral structure. For me, it feels significantly stronger and more satisfying than many vibrators I’ve used, which often feel dull or lacklustre. It also didn’t have the uncomfortable “pinching” sensation I sometimes notice with similarly targetted clitoral stimulators, but it’s possible that’s a matter of anatomical compatibility. Zumio E also sports a pressure sensitivity feature. When pressed down firmly, the rotations slow down in stages, becoming softer as you go. I counted about 5 of these stages, but I can’t be sure. The Waiting Game
For all of my appreciation of the Zumio E, I have to admit that its charging time is pretty unfortunate. Like the rest of its line, the full charge time took 16 hours (presumably due to its inductive charging base). If you want to go to it often, you might be better off having it live on its charging stand overnight so it’s ready whenever you want it next. The Zumio E is sleek and simple, though unexpected! Most notable is its SpiroTip™, a dainty stem of rigid metal covered in ABS plastic that sticks out the top. It's designed to rotate in tight, fast circles, offering intense stimulation wherever you press it. The all-black design is classic, and the smooth plastic and silicone pair nicely. It's very comfortable to hold and maneuver.
Pleasantly simple, the Zumio E's buttons each have one use: up, down, and on/off. With a raised edge, they're easy to find and use even when out of sight. Thanks to its intuitive controls and easy to hold shape, the only challenge of this toy is learning exactly how you would like to apply such a small, targeted tip. A couple millimeters left or right can feel entirely different and could take some getting used to.
This toy has a nice, polished look and feels high quality. Made entirely of ABS plastic and body-safe silicone, it has no rough edges or seams. Nothing feels poorly attached or lifts when it's manipulated. Its noise level is on the medium-low end. Even the tip, which is the most delicate-looking piece I've seen on a toy, is impressively sturdy.
While the Zumio E isn't one of the most expensive toys in the world, it does carry a notable pricetag, so it's worth weighing your preferences before taking the dive. The quality is great. It's comfortable to hold, well put together, and is comprised of well-constructed, body-safe materials. The box doesn't come with extra goodies, just a charging port and cable, but each piece delivers on quality.
On their website, Zumio claims that the SpiroTip™'s rotations are inspired by the circular motion of fingers, which I don't think is accurate. What is accurate, however, is the intensity promised in its advertising. The rotations feel deep, rumbly, and sometimes overwhelming, in a way I adored. If you're sensitive or are easily irritated by pinpoint stimulation, this may not be for you. But if you're looking to ramp up the power, this could be a really great option! Its battery life is a solid 2 hours, though it comes at the price of a 16 hour charging time.
The Zumio E's outer box includes a picture of the product, some holographic decorations, and information about its construction and usage on either side. Inside there's a second box of a sturdier material that the toy itself is nestled in. It's pretty simple overall, no gimmicks or silly add-ons.
Made entirely of ABS plastic and silicone, all of this toy's parts are 100% non-porous and body-safe! It's nicely made, with no visible seams or scratchy edges. Since it has no charging port, it's also totally waterproof. You can easily clean it up with water and gentle soap, and store it with the plastic cap over the tip for extra safety. It also includes a travel lock to avoid any luggage misshaps.

The star of the Zumio line is its SpiroTip™, a fine-point end that replaces vibration with rotation. While different products in the line have differently shaped tips and speeds of oscillation, the Zumio E has the smallest head and the most intense swirling motion. Although the sensation isn’t that noticeably different from traditional vibration, it does succeed in not numbing sensitive spots the way buzzy vibrators are prone to do.
- Pin-pointed and intense clitoral stimulation
- Intuitive controls
- Waterproof and easy to clean
- Easy to hold
- Luxury price range
- 16 hour charging time
- Can be overstimulating
I was pleasantly surprised by the Zumio E! A lot of toys promise world-changing, overwhelming sensations, but few actually live up to the hype. As someone who loves intense stimulation, this one delivered where other toys have failed to impress. If you're in the market for a rumbly toy but don't want something with broad, diffused vibrations, this could be up your alley. Just be wary of it's huge charging time: if you fall in love, you'll be waiting a long while before you can rev it up again!
