Round One
The first time I used the B-Vibe Novice Plug was spur of the moment and not preplanned. I usually like to warm up and stretch a bit with fingers before I use a plug, but because of the situation I didn’t have any prep time. It was easy to use with a bit of lube and SO comfortable. The first time I used the novice plug I was unable to use the vibration. Like I mentioned I was in a little bit of a time crunch and when I pulled it off the charger and tried to click it on a few times and it did nothing. It was not bad as a plug on its own and the vibration wasn’t necessary. I was comfortably able to use a dildo and this plug at the same time and the feelings were AMAZING!Round Two
After the first use, my goal was to figure out how to use the vibrations and give the Novice plug a try that way. Before I started to play this time I messed around with the plug until I discovered that a double click on the power button was what caused it to turn on and off. The other plugs I have tried in the past have been very round in the middle, and the b-Vibe Novice Plug is a bit different with its tapered design that is roughly the size of a finger and has a vibe in the tip. The Novice is 4 inches long in total with an insertable length of 3.35 inches, and is by far the most comfortable plug I have ever worn and has now become by staple plug for any anal use.
The b-Vibe Novice Plug is fairly simple to use, but I did have a little bit of a learning curve with trying to turn on the vibration settings. I am not sure if it is how the travel lock works, or if it was just user error, but it took me longer than I would like to admit to figure out the the Novice Plug required a double click for the vibrations to turn on and off.
The b-Vibe Novice Plug is made of hypoallergenic and body-safe silicone and is incredibly silky and smooth to the touch. The Novice Plug is very sturdy and definitely feels like it is made with high-grade materials. I have had some silicone toys that will attract dust and lint, and thankfully the novice does NOT do that at all.
In my opinion, $134.99 is VERY expensive for a butt plug on the first glance. I have had a few and I haven't ever paid over $15-20, BUT let me tell you that you can feel the difference in the b-Vibe novice plug. Buy it! Seriously, go and buy it and you can thank me later. It is 100% worth the price for what you get, I will be using and enjoying this for a long, long time.
The b-Vibe Novice Plug was what I was expecting, and even more. The website says that 2 hours of charging will give you an hour of play, but I used it for longer than that without any issue. The Novice was very comfortable to insert, and once it was in I have nothing but pleasurable feelings. The vibe on this thing is small, but mighty! I LOVED the vibe on the Novice. I would say that when I have vibrating toys that I tend to not use that feature, but that is not the case for this. If I am playing with the Novice than the vibe is going to be on.
I thought that the packaging for the b-Vibe Novice Plug was super cute! It was a little more in-depth than some of the other toys I have purchased, but that made the price seem a little more worth it. I really loved the b-Vibe care instructions that were included on the inner flap of the box that held the plug. It contained all of the quick info that was needed to get started without having to rummage through the manual.
As with any silicone toys it is best to use a water based lubricant when playing with the toy. I used a fragrance free soap to clean it, and since it is recommended to not fully submerge the Novice Plug, I washed it in my hands under the sink. I made sure that it was fully dry before storing it back in the bag that it came with for safe keeping.
