The CalExotics Pocket Exotics Impulse Slim Silver Bullet is a multi-function clit stimulating vibrator. It features a slim silver bullet that fits snuggly against the body for individual and/or couple play. The Slim Silver Bullet has a long cord to help keep track of both the bullet and the controller in the midst of play time. It features 5 different vibrations settings to add extra variety to the experience. It is powered by 2 AA batteries which really pack a punch and when the batteries die, you just have to change them to get back down to business, no waiting. This is the little package good things come in!
Bullet vibrators, clitoral stimulation vibrators, have always been a staple to my collection. At any one time, I have at least 3 different models in the toy drawer. The problem has always been finding a product that fits my body, mobility needs, has the variety, and most importantly- a life span.
Just Getting Started…
One of my favorite things about this particular bullet is that it is easily concealable. Frequently, while waiting for the hubby, I will pull this out and get started. There is nothing worse than finding THAT TOY that makes all the difference and having it die on you. You won’t have to worry about that with this toy. If the batteries start to die during play, you can easily swap out the batteries in under 30 seconds (as long as you know where your spare batteries are!) While this bullet will have a shorter life span than higher end models, this brand has been reliable enough that I return again and again to this model. If you are an individual who requires clit stimulation to really get going this is the toy. My only complaints with this product are that it doesn’t stay in place easily during PIV sex and the design can cause interruptions when the cord gets tangled in-between bodies.
The design is simple and straight forward. This isn’t going to be the nicest, the prettiest, or the softest toy in your collection, but it gets the job done. The plastic control box is attached to the bullet with a cord which helps keep track of the bullet, but can also get tangled up between bodies. The buttons are easy to find by touch. My favorite part though, is how the slim bullet design fits comfortably in the hand for external vulval play both independent or with a partner. The bullet fits snuggly against the clit to provide direct stimulation and can be used alongside other toys such as dildos and vibrators. Unfortunately, the bullet will not stay against the clit during PIV (penis in vagina) sex, it can be held in place which I find it to be more frustrating than helpful at that point.
Every aspect of this toy is straightforward, it is simple and easy to use. The slot for the batteries is easily accessible with clear markings on the placement of the AA batteries. There are only 2 buttons which allow you to cycle forward and backwards through the 5 vibration setting. A green (low) and red (high) light matches the vibration rhythm so it is easy to identify the pattern if you aren’t the direct recipient. It provides a nice variety of stimulation thanks to 5 different vibration patterns: low, high, and 3 different pattern settings that use both high and low vibrations in pleasing, repeating sequences. One limitation to this product is adaptability for those with limited mobility. The control can get easily lost amongst items making it harder to track down to change the setting. It can also feel a bit uncomfortable being held in the hand for any extended amount of time due to the texture of the plastic grip for the battery housing.
While this toy is not top tier quality, and it will die eventually, it is significantly better quality than the low end models which die within a couple of uses. The Pocket Exotic is one of the longer lasting bullets I have tried, which is why I keep coming back to this bullet. You will need AA batteries to use this one, but the batteries tend to last for a few months (depending on frequency of use), though be warned: the batteries always seem to die at the worst time, so it is helpful to keep some spare batteries nearby, just in case.
For my needs, this bullet is the perfect price point. It is a better quality than the cheapest bullets out there, and it won’t break the budget. Between the affordability and the quality of this vibrator, it is one I continue to buy. It is reliable and affordable.
If you are a fan of the bullet with a “speed dial” control that allows you to fine tune the intensity of the vibration, this isn’t the bullet for you. However, having the 5-function option is really nice when you need more variation in intensity and pattern. This bullet is a bit on the noisy side, especially if you accidentally turn it on while still on the nightstand. While actually in use, the noise is much quieter, though you might not be. Battery life is good for this type of product.
The packaging is easy to open but is not discrete at all. Packaging is not suitable for long term storage if regularly used.
The ABS bullet is connected to a durable clear plastic controller with easy-to-use buttons. Clean the bullet before and after use by washing with warm water and mild soap and disinfect with a quality toy cleaning product. This product is not waterproof or water resistant and should not be submerged in water. It is recommended to remove the batteries between usage.
