The Fantasy for Her Love Thrust-Her Sex Machine seems to offer a lot! It's a portable toy with a detachable dildo, a lockable suction cup base, and a handy remote control. You can choose between 7 thrusting options and 7 vibration options, which are controlled separately. There's also a heating function that is supposed to warm the dildo up to around 104 degrees in a matter of moments. It's very easy to set up and store, but may leave you wanting when you actually come to use it.

Fantasy for Her, Not a Reality for Me

I was very excited about finally trying out a thrusting dildo. I love the idea of hands-free play and riding a toy, so the Love Thrust-Her vibe seemed like a perfect, compact option. However, as soon as I tried to actually use this thing, the fantasy really fell apart. It’s extremely easy to put together, but once you attach the dildo and the suction cup, this thing is not so small. After trying on my knees and squatting, thing weren’t working out, as there wasn’t enough room for the dildo to thrust before it met too much resistance from my body. The thrusting function is just not powerful enough to compete with that, so it stalls. I tried to place the machine further away from me and pose it accordingly, but it just falls over when pressure is applied. I fiddled around with the vibrations and I hoped I could just ride it with those, but they were disappointingly weak and buzzy.

What’s the Point of the Suction Cup?

When I first tried to use the Thrust-Her, it was sliding all over the place! I couldn’t believe that the suction cup was doing nothing, until I realized that it has a locking function. Renewed with hope, I tried it out, but unfortunately it didn’t help much. Even when locked, the suction is not strong enough to stay in place when you put pressure on the machine. Plus, this toy is fairly heavy, so it can’t be mounted to a wall without falling off. I tried locking it as much as possible, placing it on different surfaces and adding a tiny amount of saliva to the suction cup, but it didn’t really work. Ideally, I would want to stick this toy to my hardwood floors to use it, but it just wouldn’t stay put.

So Many Better Options

If you’re looking for a thruster like this one, there are a lot of better options out there. Some of the best thrusters that we’ve tried are the Lovense Gravity, the Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy TX and the Hismith Capsule, which are all similarly-priced. For thrusting vibrator lovers, there are options like the Greedy Girl Thrusting Rabbit, the Jack Rabbit Signature Thruster and the Fun Factory Stronic Real. You could even splash out a little more and opt for a thrusting sex machine like the Hismith Tabletop or the Motorbunny Buck. Several of these toys I’ve mentioned offer you extras, like additional clitoral stimulation, or the ability to change out the dildo — perks the Thrust-Her is lacking.

Purple and pink are really not my preferred choice of colors, especially when it comes to sex toys. However, I don't think the look of the Love Thrust-Her machine is too bad overall. I like that the design of the dildo and base make it very intuitive to put together with a screw and a click.

There's a bit of a dichotomy here, as this toy is very easy to set up, but pretty darn difficult to actually use. To insert the dildo, just click it into place on the top, and then screw the suction cup base into the bottom. You can move and pose the toy at whichever angle you prefer, and then you LOCK the suction cup in place by moving the tab on the bottom. I like that you don't have to pair the remote control with the toy, it's just ready to go whenever. The downfall comes when you try to position yourself to use it, which breaks the suction and stops the thrusting function from actually thrusting.

Like other Fantasy for Her toys, this one has an air of cheapness to it. The dildo feels like good quality silicone, but the mechanism is loud and rattly, and the plastic on the suction cup feels ready to snap every time I try and lock the suction cup into place. The biggest sign of its lack of quality is how weak the thrusting function is when you apply pressure — there's a reason good thrusting dildos can cost you a pretty penny.

Depending on where you shop, you can find the Thrust-Her from around $120 to around $150. In my opinion, this is just too much for what this product really is. If you're after an actually powerful thruster, you can find the Lovense Gravity for $130-150 (which has free app controls!), and if you want something that vibrates as well, there are thrusting rabbit vibrators like the Greedy Girl or the Jack Rabbit for around $130-140 that have much stronger vibrations.

Pipedream make a whole lot of promises about this toy, but it doesn't live up to them. The thrusting function feels powerful, but doesn't have the torque to push against your body even a little bit, and the vibrations are so weak it's laughable. It's also so, so loud that I could only ever use it while home alone (and I'm not that shy about using toys while my partner is in the next room!). I'd love to remark about the battery life and charging, but I couldn't even bring myself to use it enough to run the battery down.

The packaging of this toy made me laugh out loud, literally. The front looks fairly normal, but turn it around and you'll find something I have never seen on sex toy packaging before. There is literally erotic fan fiction about this toy on the back of the box! It's very cheesy and awkwardly phrased, because they're trying to shoehorn in all the different functions of the product. My personal favorite line is "her Thrust-Her rhythmically beat her moist vagina", which may be one of the worst things I've ever read. But seriously, I threw this box away as soon as I could and hid it under my other recycling.

The Fantasy for Her Love Thrust-Her vibe is made from silicone and ABS plastic, which are both non-porous, body-safe materials. While it's not fully waterproof, the whole thing is splashproof, so you can clean it under warm, running water with some mild soap — just don't fully submerge it underwater. There is a cap that you can place over the main unit when storing this toy, but there is no storage bag for the dildo or the suction cup. I found that the suction cup quickly picked up every bit of lint in my entire house, so watch out for that.

  • Thrusting can feel nice when no pressure is applied
  • Made from body-safe materials
  • Easy to set up
  • Remote controls

  • Thrusting is not powerful enough to work when you apply pressure
  • Expensive for what you get
  • Weak, buzzy vibrations
  • Heating function is not noticeable
  • Weak suction cup

The Love Thrust-Her Sex Machine from Fantasy for Her promises a lot, but it fails to deliver on almost every front. There were a few things that got me really excited about this toy, but they couldn't save me from the let down that occurred every time I tried to use it. The thrusting seems powerful, but stops as soon as you put any pressure on it, the vibrations are weak and buzzy, the heating function is imperceptible, and the suction cup just doesn't really work. While it might seem like an attractive, budget-friendly thruster, you're better off looking at other options.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find an instruction manual online for the Love Thrust-Her, so here is a brief overview of the controls. To turn on the vibrations, press wave button on the toy or the remote control, and keep pressing the cycle through the modes. To turn on and cycle through the thrusting modes, press the button with the two arrows on the toy or the remote. To turn on the heating function, press the flame button on the toy. To turn off any function, keep cycling through the options until it stops.

While it may not be immediately obvious, the suction cup on the Thrust-Her is lockable. If you don't lock it, it won't stick to anything at all. To use the lock, simply place the suction cup where you want it, then slide the small knob just above it to the left until you hear a click and it won't go any further.

This toy is splashproof, but not waterproof. What that means is that it has been certified for splashes of water, but cannot be fully submerged underwater. Practically, this means that you can wash it under running water and even use it in the shower, but do not submerge it in the bath or fill up your sink and submerge it while cleaning.
