Doc Johnson Merci Pumped Vibrating Pussy Pump – Test & Review

It definitely gives off oxygen mask vibes. Did I put it over my mouth? Maybe. Did I also turn it? Sure! I'm not the biggest fan of the black and purple design but I like that the cup is see through so me and my partner could see what was happening! It's fun to be able to both see and feel the effects. I will say that the cup is quite small so I found that I filled it quite quickly without having a lot of space for more pumping.

Considering it has both vibration and suction, I think the Merci Pump is very easy to use! There's one button to scroll through the three suction intensities and one to scroll through the 7 vibration modes. It's also pretty easy to make a seal with the cup. The quick release button is also quick and easy to use, which is very reassuring! It does lose points for the super sensitive vibration button though! It's almost impossible not to accidentally turn it on. Even another toy bumping it in the drawer can set it off.

The pump feels a little light and although it's working well now, I'm not filled with confidence for how long it will last! I was also pretty disappointed by the quality of the vibrations. They are buzzy and concentrated in the handle so I couldn't really feel them so much when using the pump. Not to mention, they are loud and rattly! The pumping action is also rather loud so this definitely isn't one for discreet sessions! The silicone seal around the rim of the cup also comes off very easily during use.

The Merci Pussy Pump is one of the more expensive pussy pumps out there. If the vibrations had been better and the quality a little higher, I would say the price is a little more reasonable. However, in relation to the quality, I think the price is too high.

The pumping action performs very well and has a good amount of power behind it. If the silicone seal stayed on more securely, it would make it more enjoyable to use. As I've already mentioned though, the vibrations are extremely buzzy and have very little effect.

The Merci Pump packaging definitely is the best but to be fair, it's also not the worst I've seen! I'm just not a fan of packaging with women in lingerie in them. I much prefer something more aesthetic and tasteful. The box went straight in the recycling. I was also a bit disappointed it came with a plastic tray insert, which is just unnecessary and would have been much better in cardboard.

I really like that the pump cup has a silicone rim that can be removed for easier cleaning, which I really appreciate. The pump itself, however, isn't waterproof so should be kept dry and cleaned with a damp cloth and soap. I am a little concerned that as the pump sucks air out of the chamber, it is also sucking any bodily fluids with it, but I can't see any way to prevent that from happening. It also doesn't come with a storage bag, which I think should be a crime!
