Sex and Mischief Amor Gag — Test & Review

This is one of the cutest gags I've seen, along with the rose gag from Zalo and UPKO doll. I generally like all black BDSM gear, but I also really love having an alternative option that's a bit more fun and flirty as I feel like how I look also plays into how I feel and act, especially during role play. I also really like how it looks while wearing it — the pop of red really draws your attention to it and feels very sexy. It's also part of a matching range, so if you love the design, you can get the whole matching collection!

The Amor Gag is super easy! Once you've got the gag in place, all you need to do is fasten the buckle behind your head and you are ready to go! The silicone heart measures around 1.5 inches long by 1.8 inches wide, so it will fit comfortably in most mouths — I think I have a small ish mouth and I found it very easy to wear. I also love the breathable design, as I didn't feel at all claustrophobic or worried about my breathing while wearing it.

Overall, the quality is as you'd expect for a product of this price. The silicone feels lovely and smooth and has some give in it and I really like that the whole mouth piece is made of silicone. The straps are made of fake leather with a thin velvety lining, and don't feel as high quality. That being said, I think will stand up find to regular use, just maybe not more heavy duty play.

I think this is a very far price in terms of the overall design and quality! If you are looking for a cute gag for beginner to intermediate bondage play, the Amor Gag is a really great option!

I was very happy with how comfortable the Amor Gag was to wear, even for longer periods of time! This was a big plus as it allowed me to focus more on the submissive aspect of wearing a gag and not on readjusting the gag. I also really liked that the silicone heart has some squish to it so even if you bite down on it, it won't hurt. The straps are a little long for my head so a tighter hole would have been great but even though it's not quite as tight as it should be, it doesn't move around. It does mean that I could get out of it very easily though!

The packaging was very basic — the Amor Gag was attached to a card insert and packaged in a clear, sealed plastic sleeve. It was pretty much as you'd expect for a product of this type and price. Of course, it would have been nice if it came with a storage bag, but at this price, I can understand why it didn't!

I love how easy the Amor Gag is to clean! Having a silicone gag was super important to me both because of how it feels in my mouth and how easy it is to clean! You can clean the gag with unscented soap — I prefer to use fragrance-free dish soap and warm water! I give it a good scrub and make sure to clean inside the hole as well and then just let it dry. I try to keep the straps as dry as possible to make sure they last longer and just wipe them clean. I also realised you can detach the whole silicone section from the straps but I wouldn't do this every time you want to clean it as it might damage the gag over time.
