Sportsheets Saffron Breathable Ball Gag — Test & Review

I love the all-black design of the Sportsheets Saffron Breathable Ball Gag. I just think it makes it look really sleek and put together! I like how the short silicone straps on either side of the ball helps protect the corners of your mouth from any chafing or rubbing against the actual straps. I'm also a fan of PU leather giving it that classic BDSM look that we all know and love!

I'd say the Sportsheets Saffron Breathable Ball Gag is fairly easy to use. Once you've figured out how to place it and how tight you want it, using it is a breeze! The loop buckle also makes it easy to lock up. While I think it's beginner-friendly, it's still quite a mouthful. I would suggest complete beginners to warm up properly and use it for shorter amounts of time at first.

I found that the Sportsheets Saffron Breathable Ball Gag is actually a great quality product. The seams are nice and neat, the materials are body-safe and easy to clean and maintain. I already own a few items from the Sportsheets Saffron collection, and I can always count on relatively affordable quality products.

One of the best parts about the Sportsheets Saffron Breathable Ball Gag is that it's really affordable, all things considered! For the quality you're getting, as well as the lockable feature (and the cool design) I think it's a friggin' steal!

It really did live up to my expectations in terms of comfort, aesthetics, and practicality. The only thing that was a bit unexpected was the subtle whistling sound that sometimes happened if I was breathing through my mouth at certain points. Although, I don't think this will keep me from using it in the future at all. If it does happen again, it will just be friendly reminder for me to breathe through my nose!

The packaging for the Sportsheets Saffron Breathable Ball Gag was nice and fairly simple. It's not the most subtle packaging since there is in fact a big ol' picture of a very nice lady holding up said ball gag. Not very discreet as you take in down to the recycling bins on the street... just saying. Not inspired by real events whatsoever... So, keep that in mind! But I like the packaging, since the box is nice and sturdy and has a bit of additional information on there. Best of all? The velvet-y drawstring storage pouch!

The Sportsheets Saffron Breathable Ball Gag has a 100% non-porous silicone ball. The metal hardware is nickel-free and the straps are made PU leather. You can wash and rinse the silicone parts with warm water and a mild soap or sx toy cleaner. You can also sterilize the silicone parts. The straps, however, you should wipe down with a damp cloth. Be careful not to submerge the non-silicone components completely in water.
