The UPKO Leather Flogger is a premium flogger made from Italian leather. It measures 23.62 inches long and has 46 slim falls. The handle is slightly longer than standard floggers for an easier grip, even for larger hands. It also features elegant gold hardware engraved with the company name.

UPKO Leather Flogger -

I have been on the prowl for a higher quality flogger for a while, so I jumped at the chance to review the UPKO leather flogger. While my Sportsheets Saffron Flogger worked well, I found the faux leather to be a little stiff, and I was underwhelmed by the weight and power of the Bondage Boutique Advanced Extra Long Suede Flogger. I was already enthralled by the design of the UPKO Flogger, and in keeping with their designer aesthetic, it looked like a premium product. When it arrived inside it’s own purple, velvet storage bag, embroidered with the UPKO name and the words ‘Carpe Diem,’ I knew this was a company that went the extra mile to create beautiful BDSM products, and I was even more excited to try it out! When I slipped it out of the bag and got a good look at it, it was clearly very well made and the black leather and gold hardware really complemented each other. It’s a medium-sized flogger and has a little weight to it while still being relatively light and easy to swing.  The other thing I noticed was the smell of leather, and while that doesn’t do much for me, I know some people really enjoy that in their BDSM tools. The falls are all equally sized and quite thin, making the impact a little on the stingy side.

This is the third UPKO product I've been lucky enough to review, and each time, the design is just divine! It's sleek, it's elegant, is sexy and it's powerful. I feel that a lot of floggers have a bit of a cheap look and feel to them, but not this beautiful beast! I just love the black and gold together and the small details, like the engraved D loop at the base of the handle, the wrapping at either end of the handle, and the two gold rivets, really give it the edge.

This flogger feels great to use and as it's not super heavy it's very easy to manoeuvre and it creates a moderate impact. It is a little stingy so you'll want to be careful on more sensitive areas. The only very small detail I am marking it down for is the lack of wrist loop for security.

I really can't fault the quality of this flogger, it's beautifully made and the finishing is flawless. The materials are also great quality and it seems that, with the right care, this flogger will last for a really long time. I also love that it comes with its own bag to help protect the leather during storage.

There's no denying that this UPKO flogger is expensive, but it's also definitely not your bog standard flogger either. This brand is really geared towards those who want the designer bag experience of BDSM (their words not mine) and that, of course, comes at a premium price. While the flogger feels and looks fantastic, going on sensation alone, I would say that it's a bit too expensive. Whether it's worth it to you, really depends on how much value the designer experience.

The UPKO flogger performs well and looks great doing it! I would say it's a medium intensity and can be used to get a decent thwack but also performs well for lighter swings and tickling across the body. I like that the falls are nice and supple. I do wish it had a little more weight but aside from that, I'm very happy with it.

Unlike my other UPKO items, which came in beautiful boxes, the flogger came inside it's velvet storage bag, which was inside a sealed plastic sleeve. While it wasn't as luxurious as the other packaging, I very much understand that this was a more practical solution and really appreciate the storage bag, as that's very unusual for a flogger.

The UPKO flogger is made of Italian leather, and therefore, should be kept as clean and dry as possible. It's also worth noting that leather is porous, so if your flogger comes into contact with any bodily fluids, you shouldn't share it with other people that you aren't fluid bonded with. UPKO recommends using a soft cloth and leather cleaner for regular maintenance. You can store it inside it's lovely velvet bag somewhere cool and dry between uses, which also helps protect it against damage from sunlight and dust.

UPKO Leather Flogger -

  • High-quality materials
  • Flawless finish
  • Beautiful gold hardware
  • Velvet storage bag

  • No wrist loop
  • Expensive

Once again, I am thrilled with the quality and style that UPKO has delivered with this flogger. The small gold details, high-quality leather, and flawless finish put this a level above your standard flogger. It wasn't quite as thick and heavy as I would like, but that is just personal preference and it does mean that it's a little easier to use as an 'everyday' flogger.
