This toy is basically a metal chain that splits into 4 directions in an elongated X shape. There are 4 chains, connected to 2 different O rings, that are each connected to another length of chain in the middle of the O rings. On each end of each chain is a clamp with PVC rubber tips, and each clamp has an adjustable screw. The nipple clamps are smaller and rounded, while the labia clamps are wider. The chains and clamps are all pretty heavy duty.
Overall
I was pleasantly surprised by the DOMINIX Deluxe nipple/labia clamps. I didn’t expect to like them, as I have very sensitive nipples that always seem to be standing at attention, and I am very pain-averse during sex. This is due to chronic illness in my life. I have to deal with it enough on a regular basis, I don’t have any desire to experience intentional or sustained pain during sex. So, I was rather apprehensive about ordering a set of nipple and labia clamps. But, when they arrived, I saw that they have adjustable screws on each head. The toy is a bit fiddly so momentum stopped for a moment to put them on. I found the screws themselves to be very tight — I couldn’t actually adjust them, and I had to get my husband to do it for me. But, once they were on, the screws were loosened enough that it was just some pressure without any pain. I found I liked the pressure, and the weight of the chains. I also think this toy could be used on my husband, so I look forward to finding ways to use it for both our pleasure.A Word of Caution
There are a couple of things that I should mention here. One, keep in mind when you have them on, the common rules for tightening and loosening screws are reversed because of the placement of the screws. You have to keep this in mind if you don’t want to accidentally clamp down harder on your nipple. Two, even with both sets attached, they can hang quite low, and can be accidentally entrapped when you are shifting positions — this can cause some unexpected pain! But, that being said, you can tug on them intentionally, which I liked doing. Three, the screws are very tight, so if you have manual dexterity issues and/or low hand strength, you will have trouble with these.
These are made with metal chains, black rubber clamp tips, and metal screws. They are very utilitarian, without any decoration whatsoever, but I did like the design. Everything about this toy is adjustable for your own comfort level.
I found it very difficult to adjust the screws of the clamps. I also found it difficult to put the lower half on myself. In both cases, I needed my partner's help. These may not work so well for solo play.
The product is very good quality. They are sturdy, and the chains are thick. I think it would be hard to break these. The rubber clamps are sufficiently thick enough that you don't feel the metal underneath them. and the screws are good enough that they stay where you put them. I gave it a 90 because there's no indication that these are made from stainless steel, and so it could have the potential to rust and/or have problems with the metal flaking.
The price is absolutely worth it. These are only $30, and are very good quality. The chains and rubber on the clamps are heavy duty so should stand up to the test of time.
These exceeded my expectations. I was expecting to hate them and immediately take them off. That was not the case. I found the length of the chain to be a tad long for my torso, but I think if we play with adjusting the chain in the O rings, that may be solved. I may need to oil the screws so that I can adjust them easier, or figure something else out so that I can adjust them myself. The weight of the chains is also something I liked. They are not lightweight. You know you are wearing them, but that also means they won't break.
The packaging was only a small plastic baggie, smaller than a snack bag size with the toy coiled up within. I think this could have been more elaborate. There were no tips or tricks on the bag, just the label of the company. I was rather disappointed in the lack of packaging, although I suppose it was sufficient.
The chains are made from metal, but there is no indication of Lovehoney's website what kind of metal that is. The clamps are coated in PVC, and the website has a warning regarding pvc and phthalates. The whole toy does seem to be made from high-quality materials. I have not determined if they are waterproof, or rustproof. It is not as easy to clean them because of the design of the clamps, but the pvc does make cleanup easier than the bare metal would be. You can store them in the original package baggie, or however you choose. Because they are chains, they coil up. You can even hang the chains from the O rings if you wanted.

Overall I give this toy a 4. This is because I was pleasantly surprised that I liked them. I was pretty sure that I wouldn't because I am very pain-averse, but these are adjustable and can be adjusted loosely enough so that it is not painful when wearing them. However, I had to mark it down because the screws are so tight that it was hard for me to adjust them. I had to get help with it because I have dexterity issues with my hands. I also experienced the lower pair slipping off in the heat of the moment. This may have been because they weren't tightened down enough, and with juices flowing, things can get a little slippery.
