  • Are looking for some comfortable, body-safe clamps
  • Are a nipple clamp newbie
  • Love the rose gold aesthetic!
  • Need adjustable nipple clamps

  • Prefer small, non-intrusive clamps
  • Want nipple clamps that will stay on under clothes
  • Are after some more extreme, pain-inducing clamps

These gorgeous nipple clamps from Bondage Boutique are tweezer-style clamps with a moveable bar that adjusts the tightness. They are very lightweight, with a nickel-free metal body and silicone-coated tips that are soft and comfortable on the skin. At the bottom is a small charm in the shape of the Lovehoney logo, but it's only for decoration and doesn't add any weight to the clamps.

After so many ups and downs in my nipple clamp testing journey, I was so relieved that using the Bondage Boutique Rose Gold clamps was much more smooth sailing!

Three Cheers for Silicone Tips!

The first thing I noticed about them (after noting my distaste for the cheap-looking packaging) was to feel the silicone clamp tips and marvel at how soft they feel. Most nipple clamps, like the Fetish Fantasy Alligator Clamps and the Master Series Captive Heart clamps that I tried previously, have vinyl-covered tips which provide some cushioning but feels quite plasticky and slippery. The silicone, in comparison, is ultra-smooth and inviting.

A Piece of Cake

These are my first tweezer-style nipple clamps. Unlike the alligator- or crocodile-style clamps you may be used to, these clamps have a small bar that connects the two sides of the clamp. To make them tighter, you simply slide the bar up toward the tips, and to loosen you do the opposite. I found that this made them much easier to adjust while I was wearing them, so I didn’t have to fiddle about with them two much in the moment. They did stay on my nipples pretty well on their own, since I tend to wear them quite tight, but I did also take a tip from fellow reviewer Jess and add a tiny dab of water-based lube to the tips to make them grippier. This helped a lot and may be a great idea if you intend to wear them looser.

I really enjoy the overall design of these nipple clamps. They're similar to other tweezer-style clamps from Lovehoney, but it's a design that works well and the colors are very pretty in an understated way. It's also really nice to have silicone tips instead of the usual vinyl or rubber, as it's very soft, durable and feels securely attached to the clamp. My only issue is the clamps are a little long for my tastes — of course, they have to be longer for the tweezer mechanism to work, but they can feel a little awkward to wear.

These are the easiest-to-use clamps that I own. They're incredibly simple to put on and adjust (especially with a little practice), and the silicone does also provide a little grip on the nipple. For a little extra grip, you can apply a very small amount of lube to the tips.

Despite how light they are, the Bondage Boutique Rose Gold Nipple Clamps are very high-quality accessories. This actually surprised me, as nipple clamps are notoriously low-quality products that can feel very cheap. However, the materials are high-quality and the construction is solid — these clamps are meant to last!

I think these Bondage Boutique clamps are very reasonably priced. You can find other sets of nipple clamps for similar prices, and those are often made with lower quality materials. I would have loved if they would've thrown in a small storage bag as well for the money, but you could store them in the original packaging if you'd like to.

I'm surprised that this product doesn't have a higher rating on Lovehoney's website. I think they work really well and are very comfortable to wear, and will stay put if you wear them tight enough. However, if you're only looking for very light pressure, then you may find that they fall off (unless you wear them while lying on your back).

This is one area that really lets down the Bondage Boutique Rose Gold clamps. The packaging is very minimal, and pretty low-quality to boot. It's just a simple plastic bag with some cardboard inside. Since there's no storage pouch included, you could use the packaging to store the clamps, but I swapped it out for a small pouch I got with some jewelry a while back.

These clamps are made from metal and silicone. Lovehoney don't specify which metal it is, but they do say that it's nickel-free. To clean the clamps, all you need to use is a little water and soap. Give them a rinse, then thoroughly dry them before storing. Try not to store them with other silicone toys, as silicone can become damaged if it rubs against other silicone products.

  • Soft silicone tips
  • Easy to adjust
  • Comfortable to wear
  • Gorgeous rose gold color!

  • Can fall off if worn looser
  • May be a bit long for some

I really enjoy these Bondage Boutique nipple clamps. The color is just so pretty, and I really appreciate the silicone tips over the usual vinyl — it's so soft on the skin! They're super beginner-friendly, and though sometimes I wished that they had a bit more weight to them, they're a perfect go-to clamp for light nipple stimulation.

There is no instruction manual available for the Bondage Boutique Rose Gold Nipple Clamps, but they’re very simple to use. Just place the silicone tips on either side of your nipple, then slide the bar up the stems to increase the tightness. If you find that the tips are not staying in place, try using a very small dab of water-based lube to increase their grip.

This greatly depends on your personal pain threshold. For me, I had to adjust them to be very tight before I felt any pain, but you may feel differently. Since they are highly adjustable, it's very easy to customize their intensity and make them as loose or as tight as you'd like.

Tweezer nipple clamps are named because they look a lot like a pair of tweezers! Rather than using a dial to adjust the clamp tightness like alligator clamps, tweezer clamps have a bar that connects both sides of the clamp together. Moving that bar up and down adjusts how close the tips are to each other, and thus how tight the clamp is.

Yes, these nipple clamps are perfect for beginners! They're very lightweight and easy to get started with, and the silicone tips are very comfortable and easy to keep clean.
