I see the LELO Flickering Touch Massage Candle as a delightful and elegant oil massage candle packed with all the best ingredients. The natural blend of soy wax, shea butter, and apricot kernel oil feels luxurious and relaxing on the skin. The gentle fragrances, especially the Snow Pear and Cedarwood, create a calming atmosphere. I appreciate that the scent isn’t too overpowering, since this is a big issue for some massage candles out there. Our tester noted that the wax formula melted into a pretty thick massage oil. This was actually really nice because the thick consistency actually made it easier to handle the oil once it needed to be distributed on the skin. However, the lack of a pouring spout made pouring the massage oil quite messy with a lot of residue left running down the sides of the jar. I definitely think that could be a huge improvement to make in the future! I love the design, I enjoy the scent combination, but I must say, it’s on the pricier side of things… But if you love elegant candles and you appreciate the unique scents, I think you will be happy with this product!

This is a great option if you are on a budget or just want to try a massage candle. It is pretty small so will only last a couple of sessions, though. It contains a good mix of oils that are great for your skin but they are quite thick so don’t spread far. However, I noticed that some users have found that the candle burns unevenly. It’s important to let it melt evenly all the way across on the first burn but you can always heat it slightly by placing the candle in a bowl of hot water until the wax melts and then let it set again.
